"Very pleased with the service. The owner, Chris, went out of his way to answer all of my inquiries with detailed explanations and suggestions. He also made sure, every step of the way, that the job was done to my satisfaction. And it was! Punctual. Professional. Office staff were courteous and efficient. Alex, who prepared proposals for all of the work, was professional and efficient. He also had an uncanny eye for detail, and picked out some things that my contractor had missed. So glad I had Sir Grout do this work to preserve my new ceramic floors and shower, and to provide some much needed restoration to two older showers that were showing some serious wear and tear. Excellent, competitive pricing. This company aims to please. I strongly recommend Sir Grout of Manasquan."

"I called about 5 different companies, even with high reviews on 7/12. Many companies made promises or were flaky with timing, scheduling. SNWash responded immediately and came within hours. This service is commended and amazing. It is dearly appreciated, it is very important to have people you can count on. Hours later, job was completely done. The job was excellent the people were excellent, nothing more I can ask for. Thank you guys! Thank you angie's list. Highly recommended"

"I would not recommend this service. It was $175 for 4 cleaners for two hours. 1 lady didnt show up and the other cleaners didnt clean well. I am having my master bathroom redone so the floors upstairs are all dirty and they were still dirty when they left. White patches on the floor i cleaned myself by rubbing with a towel. The garbages werent emptied, the beds werent made, there was still dirt in the kitchen, I found some left over fruity pebbles from my toddler on the living room floor ( they didnt got between the couch and coffee table when I have a big gap of space). I texted to complain and she said they are human and make errors. No, I am not paying for errors. I would definately not recommend them."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Sandblasting is useful when you need to strip material off a hard surface. Common reasons to sandblast are to remove paint, rust, or get a surface ready for a new material. You aren’t limited to surfaces like walls either—you can sandblast rusted tools, bicycle frames, cement, bricks, and many others. If what you’re sandblasting is still structurally sound, sandblasting can be a fast and inexpensive way to revive the original material.

There are two ways sandblasting could be dangerous: improper use of the equipment so that the stream touches your skin, and air particles created during the sandblasting process. While the first is easier to avoid and fairly obvious, the second has the potential to be more serious and is much more difficult to understand. This is why you should always hire a pro to sandblast, as they understand the dangers associated with the process. If proper safety measures are taken, then sandblasting is rarely dangerous.

Yes, many professionals use dustless or water-based blasting methods for reduced environmental impact.

Because these two systems have different applications, there is no definitive answer to which is better. When working with sturdy materials, sandblasting is cheaper and faster, but more delicate projects require soda blasting. Before choosing either option, consider your specific needs, particularly your ultimate goal (cleaning, removing rust, prepping for painting, etc.), the material, and your budget.

Sanding and pressure washing serve different purposes in deck maintenance, so one is not necessarily better than the other. Pressure washing is ideal for annual cleaning to remove dirt, grime, mold, and mildew. Sanding is a deeper restoration method used to smooth rough surfaces, remove an old finish, and prepare the wood for a new coat of stain or paint. The ideal process for refinishing a deck is to first clean it (with a power washer), then sand it, and finally apply the new stain or finish. While cleaning should be done annually, sanding and staining are typically needed only every one to three years.
