"Awesome. Danny and his crew were great to work with. They planted a lovely dogwood, flowers for 5 clay pots, 5 hanging pots, 5 concrete vases, 2 concrete boxes, and a large wood planter. They transplanted a flowering bush I wanted to keep, cleaned out and raised the soil level of the wood box (size approx 6x8 feet) so the perennials and annuals could be seen. We discussed the colors I wanted, he shared photos of his suggestions, and made adjustments based on my feedback. My front, side and backyards now look wonderful! Next year I plan to work with him starting April and not August :-). I recommend them highly."

In replacing the front steps they discovered we had another issue and that needed to be resolved before they could continue with their work. They could have said nothing but instead Bill Taylor pointed out the issue which could have cost us alot more money down the road.. and all these years later we still appreciate the job TBI did for us.. the pavers and front steps are still in great shape thanks to Bill Taylor's high standards and great work ethic. Stepping stones should match an average human stride, so the general rule is to place them about 24 inches between stones. However, many designs put stones closer together. If you choose to plant in between them, leave at least 6 to 8 inches between stones to give plants room to grow.

In most cases, the cost to pour a concrete patio falls between $8 and $12 per square foot. For a typical 200-square-foot concrete patio, you’re looking at an average price of between $1,600 and $2,400. Most concrete patios will be 4 inches thick, so thickness plays a minimal role in the price variance, but some types of concrete finishes can cost up to $25 per square foot, which has a major impact on your total.

Some patios will cause your property taxes to increase, while others will not. A good rule of thumb is that if your patio requires a permit, your taxes will increase. That’s because permits are necessary for “permanent” land improvements, and your taxes are based partially on improvements. Something like a concrete patio that’s considered permanent will bump up your property taxes, while a “temporary” paver patio or flagstone patio will not negatively affect your taxes.
