He managed a full kitchen overhaul, including an addition that expanded the space and added a hallway—dramatically improving the home's flow. He also built a beautiful new deck, refinished the original oak floors, painted every room, and updated two bathrooms, including a custom shower with French stone tile. "My husband and I are very happy with the work that Bill and his team completed for us. We were looking for a way to improve the function of our home, which included replacing a 3 season porch with a larger, multipurpose room, along with a new utility room so that our washer and dryer could be moved out of our bathroom. We had gotten estimates from other contractors, but Bill was the only one willing to work with us to figure out the best way to stay on budget, while still making sure we were happy. Other companies made me feel like I was being talked to, rather than an open discussion. Bill’s plan was innovative and cost effective, while still beautiful and fulfilling all the items on my wish list. The team was extremely communicative and respectful. Going into the project, I was worried about how much our life would be disrupted, especially with two little ones under the age of 5. I was pleasantly surprised that there was little inconvenience during the entire project. I had expected to be without my washer and dryer for much longer, but they moved and hooked them up again very quickly for us. Similarly, we ended up having to replace our bathtub unexpectedly, and the team took care of it quickly, knowing it was essential for our family. They were always so friendly and kind to our two girls, who grew to love them as much as we did! I was so appreciative to have reliable and trustworthy people in our home and around my family. Any issues or concerns that came up during the project were responded to quickly. Bill and his team emphasized communication and were happy to discuss anything with us. "I’ve been a customer of Wilber’s for several years. Up till now I’ve always found them to be reasonable in price, professional, reliable and trustworthy. I don’t know what’s happened but, they are no longer the company they used to be. I recently hired Wilbers to repair a loose newel post at the bottom of my stairs. When Danny the estimator came he explained that it might be an easy fix or more involved if they needed to install a new 4X4 interior post. Though I requested that he provide estimates for both scenarios he only sent the estimate for the worst case scenario. I let that go because I trusted that they would do the right thing should it prove to be an easy fix. When they arrived it turned out that all that was needed was to replace the wooden board in the basement with a 2 ft. 2x4 and tighten the bolt that runs inside the post. The workers were here for 1 hour and for this Wilber’s decided that a fair price was $820. It seemed absolutely outrageous to me that they would charge me $820 to tighten a bolt so I tried reaching out to Wilber 3 times and asked that he call me back to discuss. Well he never called me back. I can only assume that he knows full well that he did is wrong and is unable to justify his outrageous pricing. It’s sad that Wilber thinks this is how you should treat a loyal customer and it’s certainly disappointing to discover what an unprofessional and unethical person he is. I certainly will never utilize the services of Wilbers ever again and I would caution anyone thinking of hiring them to think twice. Wilber is a man that lacks integrity and therefore someone you cannot trust to do business with."
