He figured out an ingenious way to hoist the heavy door to the second floor, and very skillfully and quickly adjusted the frame to fit the door, and affixed the heavy-duty hinges. And for the first-floor door, he figured out a way to repair the existing frame (rather than replace it), thereby saving me hundreds of dollars. All the work was done to a very high standard by a skilled professional who worked quickly and efficiently. And the price-tag for all this was remarkably low -- only a third the price I'd been quoted by another local handyman firm. The first was the ground preparation and setting up the framing for the concrete. The second was to pour the concrete and finish off the job. Everyone knew exactly what to do to keep the concrete flowing from the truck to the back yard. One guy maned the truck, one guy worked the destination surface and two ran the wheelbarrows back and forth from the truck to the walkway!
