"Was having a problem getting my newly installed hi hat lights. Julian diagnosed the problem and corrected the problem quickly. I would definitely recommend Julian to family and friends. I was so impressed with his work, I also asked for an estimate for some more of my electrical needs."

"Fabrizio was extremely helpful and prompt. He came out on the same day, diagnosed and repaired a major issue (broken circuit breaker), and fixed several other small problems. He charged an extremely reasonable rate and was very friendly. Highly recommend!"

"Amazing! Don is great! I wanted a light fixture changed in the stairway of my townhome. NOT EASY! Don took the time to assess how he would position the ladder at the top landing to reach the fixture. Then he had to lean over the open space, get to the existing fixture, remove it and install the new one. I held my breath through the entire process. He did it! The new light looks beautiful and really updates the house. I would definitely recommend Don to anyone looking for an electrician. Thank you."

Ev Charger Installer questions, answered by experts

Setting up utilities on a vacant property usually takes at least a few months, or between 6 weeks to 16 weeks. This process requires working with the local planning and zoning department, hiring a building contractor or engineer to design the utility layout, securing permits, laying the lines, and connecting the utilities.

Hire an electrician the same way you would an employee. Ask questions and look for a good fit. Streamline the process by using these questions to ask an electrician. It's also common to ask for a quote in writing. Don’t forget to provide all the project details to ensure there are no surprises or opportunities for added fees.

Local electricians with experience in your area understand the local building codes, which is very important when doing new electrical work. They also have experience with the kind of electrical problems homes in your location may have, and even the components that were used in the original construction, which leads them to make faster and better decisions.

You can plug your electric car into a regular 120-volt household outlet only if you’re using a Level 1 charger. This method is slower and may take several days to fully charge your EV. For faster charging, you’ll need a Level 2 charger, which requires a 220- or 240-volt outlet.

Upgrading your electrical system can save you money on your monthly utility bills by powering your home more efficiently. Electrification nonprofit Rewiring America estimates that a household could save $1,800 per year on energy bills by upgrading to a modern electric heat pump, switching to a heat pump for their water, installing solar panels on the roof, and converting to an electric vehicle.
