Overall, Dave's service was excellent. Dave was punctual, professional and provided a fair price. He was available via chat to agree on appointments and helped me with the town permit. He upgraded my kitchen lighting by adding more circuits, running two electrical lines for the cooktop, wall oven, and updated the electrical panel. He cleaned the area after work was done. He is friendly and courteous. I highly recommend Dave.

If you're looking around for an electrician, just stop here and give Dave a call. I had a fairly involved project that involved a service upgrade, generator, load shedders, plus new heat pump wiring, and Dave did a phenomenal job. He worked nonstop through extremely cold weather and ensured that everything was done properly and to code. Reliable, good communication, and excellent work. I would absolutely use him again!

Light fixtures and NEMA 14-50 outlet install

It was an amazing experience. Dave came a week ago to give me an estimate. He came on time. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the work. I talked with him about some other issues and projects I had in mind for the future. He said that he would email me some numbers. We can not overstate how happy we are, and would definitely hire him again.

I called on Wednesday, Dave called back on Friday and they came Tuesday as scheduled. Alex replaced a mechanical timer with an electronic one I had. I was very pleased with the work, I would definitely call them again.

Dave Burton came on time, diagnosed the issue fairly quickly, and resolved it right away. Very professional, very personable. As he had decided to come himself without an assistant for this project, the price was much less than originally anticipated. When I then asked him about a more extensive project inside the house, he gave me what I felt was a very fair price. I expect to call on him again soon for that project...

Dave was responsive and easy to work with. Was on time and left all work areas clean. Setting up an appointment was easy and the work completed came in right with the estimate I received which was reasonable. Dave and Alex gave me the best price quote, and that was the price I paid when the job was done. They were able to add a couple of small job I requested last minute. They were on schedule, and did a great job. Dave communicated with me when I was out if the house to confirm certain things with me. Overall they did a wonderful job and I would definitely use them again!

Not often I had come by a professional that is honest, reliable, responsive with fair pricing. Burton Electric has been the fourth electrician I have had making major repairs and installations in the two houses we owned in New Jersey and by far has been the best. Dave was punctual, worked very clean and was flexible adjusting and making changes as the work proceeded. He was attentive to my concern not to exceed my budget. Rarely a contractor will be encouraging saying "we can have 4 lights in this room and if it is not enough I will add more, but I think it will be enough." Saved me a couple of hundred dollars and was not tight with every little item he installed like a new and nicer plate here and there, and even replaced an old outlet and did not charge me. His estimate was the best of the other 5 contractors. Kudos Burton Electric. Highly recommended.

Dave & Alex replaced the breaker and found various faults in the circuit wiring. They corrected the faults and made recommendations to lessen the load on the circuit. Dave looked to see if there was a way to run a new line to reduce the load. He sketched out the proposal and gave me a ballpark figure for a future improvement. The proposal seems very reasonable and I be using Burton Electrical for future projects at various locations. Highly recommend!

Dave and Alex did a fantastic job on my new home. They installed a new sub panel, and changed all the old outlets and light switches. They replaced my ceiling fan and chandelier. They installed new ceiling light fixtures in all the bedrooms, the kitchen and the living room. They also added additional outlets, replaced a venting light in the bathroom and replaced all of my outdoor lighting fixtures. Dave was easy to reach and was on time every day. They always cleaned up after themselves. Their work is top notch and I would definitely hire them again. In fact he is coming to do some additional work in the very near future.

Dave and his associate, Alex, was professional and timely. He took the extra time to trouble shoot some wiring issues when he could have taken the easy road and knocked more holes in walls ( I even told him it was okay, but he didn't do it). Will definitely use him again for future work.

I first contacted Dave last Monday, 8/7. He was on a new construction job and said that he would be tied up all week. He indicated that he would call me on 8/14 and see if he could schedule me for this week. Since my issue was not critical, that was fine with me. Instead of calling 8/14, he actually called early - on Saturday, and an appointment was scheduled for 8/14. Dave and his associate, Alex, arrived on time, were extremely personable and knowledgeable, found the problem quickly and repaired the defective outlet immediately for a reasonable price. All is working fine, and I would highly recommend Dave and Burton Electric to anyone.
