"My parents and I live in a old brick apartment building in Hoboken that is from the 1880s. The bathroom in our apartment had not been updated since the 1940s. We needed help ASAP. We checked out Cesar s page and wanted to hire him immediately. The reviews speak for themselves. When he came into our apartment to give us a quote we knew that this was contractor we needed to get the job done. Cesar is affordable, friendly, and very accommodating to any issues or concerns you have before starting the project. Two massive issues with our project were that my dad has spinal & walking issues, so we needed the floors clear of all tools and materials at the end of the each day so that father could walk efficiently through the apartment. The other big issue was that we only have 1 bathroom, so Cesar agreed to work with us on pulling the toilet off and on as every day finished so that we did not have to leave our building to use the toilet. Him and his crew are the best and take pride in their work so that owner is happy with the final result. We brought the bathroom down to the bare bones and rebuilt it back up. I worked with him every step of the way to make sure that he needed all materials to get the job done in the time we needed. This project was an intense remodel with some of the hardest demo and substrate materials that an old bathroom can have. He didn t think anything of it. He has veteran experience in the field and this remodel only took 3 weeks. We are very impressed with Cesar s craftsmanship and professionalism and we will be hiring him again for any future interior projects."

"I contacted Mr. Handyman to build an outdoor enclosure for my cat (catio). From the moment, Taneesha answered my call to the time they completed the catio, they were phenomenal to work with. I had been struggling to find someone who had done this kind of job before, but Taneesha made me feel very comfortable that they could do this job. They sent Mike over and he was amazing. He has a cat of his own so he knew exactly why I wanted a catio. We looked at a few pictures together and he designed an amazing catio for us. His workmanship and attention to detail was simply inspiring. He thought of every single place a cat could try and escape from and took care of it. I am truly so impressed by him. And while the work was being done, Ron provided regular updates on Mike's availability and assured us that they would complete the job in a decent timeframe. "I found Italian Painting Co. on Angie's list. Since Joe was located in the neighborhood I called him for an estimate on the three projects I needed to be addressed. Firstly, he arrived exactly on time of the appointment. After examining a water problem I was experiencing, he provided me with a less costly and a more sensible option. I then asked him to give me quotes on removing an air conditioner and its shell and closing the hole. The room also needed to be painted. I found his estimates to be in line with everyone else. We established a time frame that would work for him and me. He guaranteed that his work would be completed in three days. True to his word, he arrived on time. My masonry work looks great. On the same day he bricked, framed, insulated and sheet rocked the wall. Two days later he returned as promised and painted. What can I say. His work was impeccable. He was clean, neat and left no mess behind. The man is a professional and a gentlemen. I would definitely rehire him. P.S. "Star Painting Services painted the exterior of my house and garage.  They were very professional and easy to work with during this project.
The siding on my house is painted cedar shakes.  The old paint was peeling in many areas and required substantial preparation prior to repainting. Star Painting Services started with a thorough power wash and then scraped off all loose paint. All exposed wood surfaces were prime coated with an oil based primer and then topped with two coats of exterior latex.  There were a couple of south and west facing areas that needed a third coat and Star Painting was very reasonable in handling this request even though the contract was specifically for two coats.  They also power sanded and repainted an iron porch railing for a very reasonable additional cost. Every evening, the painting crew cleaned up and carefully stored all their equipment before leaving for the day.
With all the rain during the month of June, it was very difficult to find a period for exterior painting. As soon as the weather cleared, Star Painting promptly contacted me and we set a start date for the project. They showed up on schedule and worked continuously until the job was completed.
I would recommend Star Painting for any exterior painting job and will certainly use them again for future painting needs."

"Our entire job was extensive, replacing all windows (new construction not inserts), remove/install siding, replace all outdoor trim changing it from wood to Azek, new indoor trim around new windows, new soffits, new gutters, new front door and surround, new garage doors, new outdoor lighting and new front porch.  The first contractor not only walked off the job but his work had to be removed and redone due to poor workmanship by the first contractor.  Cary came to the rescue, because we continued to uncover more work that had to be redone we paid Cary and his helper by the hour.  His work ethic was unquestionable.  He showed up on time and worked the promised 8 hours.  Cary did all the siding, soffit installation and basic outside trim which included a 1 x 8 freeze board a 1x4 board, dentil molding then cove molding along the roof line. He also cut the arches from the Azek.  Because my design for the front door surround was rather intricate Cary brought in two carpenters who were unbelievably talented.  He had them cut the remaining dentil that was needed on site.  He also brought in someone who installed the gutters and downspouts. Cary also installed our french doors with a retractable screen and as the Anderson construction rep said, " this is the best installation I have ever seen".  The overall project went smoothly once Cary took over the job.  He is respectful and listens to what you want and most importantly was there when I needed him."
