"My parents and I live in a old brick apartment building in Hoboken that is from the 1880s. The bathroom in our apartment had not been updated since the 1940s. We needed help ASAP. We checked out Cesar s page and wanted to hire him immediately. The reviews speak for themselves. When he came into our apartment to give us a quote we knew that this was contractor we needed to get the job done. Cesar is affordable, friendly, and very accommodating to any issues or concerns you have before starting the project. Two massive issues with our project were that my dad has spinal & walking issues, so we needed the floors clear of all tools and materials at the end of the each day so that father could walk efficiently through the apartment. The other big issue was that we only have 1 bathroom, so Cesar agreed to work with us on pulling the toilet off and on as every day finished so that we did not have to leave our building to use the toilet. Him and his crew are the best and take pride in their work so that owner is happy with the final result. We brought the bathroom down to the bare bones and rebuilt it back up. I worked with him every step of the way to make sure that he needed all materials to get the job done in the time we needed. This project was an intense remodel with some of the hardest demo and substrate materials that an old bathroom can have. He didn t think anything of it. He has veteran experience in the field and this remodel only took 3 weeks. We are very impressed with Cesar s craftsmanship and professionalism and we will be hiring him again for any future interior projects."

"I contacted Mr. Handyman to build an outdoor enclosure for my cat (catio). From the moment, Taneesha answered my call to the time they completed the catio, they were phenomenal to work with. I had been struggling to find someone who had done this kind of job before, but Taneesha made me feel very comfortable that they could do this job. They sent Mike over and he was amazing. He has a cat of his own so he knew exactly why I wanted a catio. We looked at a few pictures together and he designed an amazing catio for us. His workmanship and attention to detail was simply inspiring. He thought of every single place a cat could try and escape from and took care of it. I am truly so impressed by him. And while the work was being done, Ron provided regular updates on Mike's availability and assured us that they would complete the job in a decent timeframe. "Had to get a porch and railing repaired. I needed it done quickly in case there was any snow or ice. Had a quote from another contractor, but he never followed up. Two other companies gave me much higher quotes. I explained the need for speed and Continental Construction gave me a very reasonable price and performed the service only two days later(they mightâ ve gotten it done the next day, but for the rain). "We have had DDP (Dariusz Pardo and his great crew) do substantial projects for us since 2015 - interior painting and kitchen remodel for my motherâ s condo, exterior painting of our house - so when we decided to do a major refresh and renovation of our house, DDP was our first choice. That was a smart move! After much discussion and thought, we agreed on an expansive project list. * New kitchen: cabinets, quartz countertops, crown molding, ceramic backsplash, porcelain floor, ceiling and under-counter lighting * Replace hardwood floors (rip out hardwood, screw down sub-flooring, install and finish new flooring) * Replace interior doors (19) and door moldings * Replace all baseboard moldings * Build new Pantry and laundry room closets and remodel all other closets * Family Room: Design and install new in ceiling lighting, and install new laminate flooring * Replace all electrical switches and outlets, and install several new outlets in kitchen, bedrooms and family room * Fix creaky stairs * Adjust step height of several stair steps * Paint every room and closet, which required resurfacing of many areas that had deep cracking/peeling of 60 years worth of paint. * Design and install plumbing for a new water softener system, and install system * Install new natural gas Hot Water Heater including leak detector with automatic water shut-off.
