"This was the best experience in all ways for the tile grout in our shower. Russ communicated right away once contacted. Chris called soon after and explained the whole process step by step for cleaning, repairing deteriorating grout, clear seal and caulk. Made the appointment over a month in advance and he did not reschedule. Arrived at the agreed time, wore protective shoe covers, brought in his tools/supplies and went right to work. Chris explained again what he was going to do and reviewed the finished job. Also gave recommendations on cleaning and future care. The shower looks great. Chris is very experienced, timely and professional. He had everything he needed to get the job done. I had lost hope of finding a good contractor that you can trust and I wish there were more like this company."

Customers say: Super punctual

"I called Tom for an estimate and he showed up exactly when he said he would. I was happy with his proposal and scheduled the work. Tom installed ceramic tile on my kitchen subfloor. He removed the old tile floor in the bathroom and installed new tile. Since I am getting new countertops installed in my kitchen, I had him remove the old countertop and range hood as well. Tom was on time every day and cleaned up nicely. The floors came out great! I will be hiring Tom to install my kitchen backsplash and 2 additional rooms later on. He also told me how much tile and grout to get for each project. I would highly recommend Tom for any tile projects you may have."

Floor Cleaning and Waxing questions, answered by experts

Buffing will only remove scratches at the surface level of your flooring. You may also need to apply hardwood floor wax to restore the wax layer. To remove deeper scratches, you’ll need another floor repair method like sanding; however, if you sand the floor, you’ll also need to stain and seal it.

Regular sealing, proper drainage, and periodic inspections prevent premature wear and cracking.

If you have waxed floors or floors with a penetrating stain or oil, you can shine them up with some more wax and a cloth or floor buffer. After cleaning the floor thoroughly, apply wax to the floor in small sections and use a clean, dry cloth or towel to buff it until it shines. You can also use an electric polisher, which is especially handy for large floors.

Floor polishing isn’t technically necessary, but it will help your floors last longer and hold up better to scratches. Floor polish is a thin coating that fills in small abrasions on your floor and makes them less visible, and it can act as a protective covering that prevents future damage to the floor underneath. Floor polish helps protect against water and moisture, so it’s a great service if you want to extend the lifespan of your floors. Additionally, polish makes your floors shine, making your home look cleaner and more inviting.

Yes, many services offer waxing as part of the polishing process. Confirm with your provider.
