"Matt and the entire team of professionals at Prestige Design & Build were prompt, courteous, meticulous and hard working. My family and I are 100% pleased with the beautiful job they completed in our home and I definitely look forward to planning additional renovations with them in the near future. Much appreciation to Matt for his personable communication."

"They are not local to my area. Please, hire local. And this is for Angi: Try not to recommend contractors who are a significant distance away, in this case around 80 miles (and 2 states) away. Great website, appears to be professionally designed and maintained, I like what they do (judging from the content in the website) but I am outside their service area. I don't live in that area. If I owned a home or apartment in that area, I would hire them."

"Rey and the team for Sovereign Homes did an amazing job on our complete home remodel including a new addition. This was the second time we used Rey (had previously built an addition for us in our last house) and both times we finished the projects on schedule and were very happy with the quality of the workmanship. Rey was on site every day to manage each phase of the build, and every subcontractor he brought in was respectful and courteous. We managed to live in our house throughout most of the build with two small children and you could tell that the team really cared about keeping a clean and safe jobsite. We've recommended Rey to our neighbor who also just completed an addition. Would highly recommend Rey and team for your home remodeling project."

"We used Your Way Contractors to gut renovate a finished attic space that was in bad shape. Gene and his team were fantastic to work with. Gene and his son were incredibly responsive to any questions or concerns we had. I had been using this room as my home office and the temperature would drop down 45 in the winter and go up to a stifling 85 in the summer. I am happy to say it is the toastiest room in the house on cold days. We are thrilled with how the room turned out. We will use Your Way Contractors on future home renovation projects. We highly recommend them."

"Jack contacted us on the first day and agreed to meet with us after we filled out a form on Angie’s list to find a general contractor in our new hometown. It was immediately obvious that Jack and his son, Dom, knew what they were doing and so we were hopeful the estimate would fit into our budget. Within a week (which included speaking to some contractors that could not or would not do everything we were looking for) we signed a contract with Jack and they begin working within a short amount of time. Our original plan was just the tankless water heater, generator and bookshelves. During their time with us, we discovered a roof leak and Jack and his son spent hours determining exactly what was wrong. We had no doubt that we would use them to repair our roof as well. Overall, we were very happy with Jack, Dom and all the subcontractors. You won’t regret working with Jack."

"We hired Elegant Home Improvement to renovate 2.5 bathrooms, our master bedroom, our kitchen, and our Living room. John & his crew met and exceeded our expectations. They spent approximately 40 full days worth of work on our house and at the end of every day the work area, our yard, and our house was always clean and immaculate, while still making good progress. All construction boxes, trash, etc. was always removed and cleaned up before they left every day. They took extra effort to make this a positive experience for us and to make sure our house was livable during the renovation process. We felt like they didn't just treat us like we were another project, but that they really wanted to help make our new house "our home". My wife and I have nothing but positive things to say about Elegant Home Improvement and would highly recommend them for your project!"

"My wife and I DO NOT use anyone who is not on Angie's List so we understand the importance of having accurate, fair reviews. We found Cary on Angie's List with overall great feedback on jobs he had done so we called him in for an estimate. Despite being very busy, he made the time to come over on a Saturday morning. He had previously dropped by and assessed the damage from the outside but needed to see it from the inside to ensure he could judge it accurately. After 15 minutes, our fears were realized and he said he would need to remove the cedar impression siding and remove the roof and replace it with a different system because the pitch wasn't steep enough.
Within 48 hours, he provided a quote for his crew to come out and get the work done in a single day which was completely reasonable. He completed the work (guaranteed) as promised and left the site immaculate. He took pictures of the issue, of job progress and of the completed job. He mentioned he went around and filled some other issues he noticed while he was waiting for his crew to wrap up, no charge at all. He then discounted the quoted, agreed price 5% for angie's list deal I wasn't even aware of. Have you ever heard of a contractor accept less than an agreed price? Me neither.
Angie's List is a great resource for people to share experiences. I think the contractors who are honest and reasonable should be applauded too. We have been on the receiving end of some really lousy service so this was a new experience having someone do what they promised to do. Cary and his crew are the best in Monmouth County. We already have him pricing out finishing a storage space and will use him to build our deck in the spring. I cannot recommend Cary enough and you can reach me through Cary if you'd like to see his work firsthand.

"Eric and his team are not just contractors. They are family. They really get to know their customers and fully execute dreams and make them reality. They made my house and home and was always available for as many questions I had. I never felt rushed in decision making. They became someone I will always call when I have any ideas to improve my home."
