"Rey and the team for Sovereign Homes did an amazing job on our complete home remodel including a new addition. This was the second time we used Rey (had previously built an addition for us in our last house) and both times we finished the projects on schedule and were very happy with the quality of the workmanship. "We have had DDP (Dariusz Pardo and his great crew) do substantial projects for us since 2015 - interior painting and kitchen remodel for my motherâ s condo, exterior painting of our house - so when we decided to do a major refresh and renovation of our house, DDP was our first choice. That was a smart move! After much discussion and thought, we agreed on an expansive project list. * New kitchen: cabinets, quartz countertops, crown molding, ceramic backsplash, porcelain floor, ceiling and under-counter lighting * Replace hardwood floors (rip out hardwood, screw down sub-flooring, install and finish new flooring) * Replace interior doors (19) and door moldings * Replace all baseboard moldings * Build new Pantry and laundry room closets and remodel all other closets * Family Room: Design and install new in ceiling lighting, and install new laminate flooring * Replace all electrical switches and outlets, and install several new outlets in kitchen, bedrooms and family room * Fix creaky stairs * Adjust step height of several stair steps * Paint every room and closet, which required resurfacing of many areas that had deep cracking/peeling of 60 years worth of paint. * Design and install plumbing for a new water softener system, and install system * Install new natural gas Hot Water Heater including leak detector with automatic water shut-off. "Jack contacted us on the first day and agreed to meet with us after we filled out a form on Angie’s list to find a general contractor in our new hometown. It was immediately obvious that Jack and his son, Dom, knew what they were doing and so we were hopeful the estimate would fit into our budget. Within a week (which included speaking to some contractors that could not or would not do everything we were looking for) we signed a contract with Jack and they begin working within a short amount of time. "We hired Elegant Home Improvement to renovate 2.5 bathrooms, our master bedroom, our kitchen, and our Living room. John & his crew met and exceeded our expectations. They spent approximately 40 full days worth of work on our house and at the end of every day the work area, our yard, and our house was always clean and immaculate, while still making good progress. All construction boxes, trash, etc. was always removed and cleaned up before they left every day. They took extra effort to make this a positive experience for us and to make sure our house was livable during the renovation process. We felt like they didn't just treat us like we were another project, but that they really wanted to help make our new house "our home". "Very well. After I called Alan came over and gave us an estimate. Since it was reasonable in light of the other estimates we got, we hired him. His two-man crew arrived soon after and did everything that Alan and I had had agreed on. Although a little absent-minded at times, they were meticulous and reasonably careful. As the work progressed, we were impressed enough to extend the project to include other outside areas of the house. Where required they provided new screws to put back our downspouts and shutters. When the job ended one of his crew wire brushed several paint drips off our asphalt driveway and stone paver walkway. Good job!"

"My wife and I DO NOT use anyone who is not on Angie's List so we understand the importance of having accurate, fair reviews. We found Cary on Angie's List with overall great feedback on jobs he had done so we called him in for an estimate. Despite being very busy, he made the time to come over on a Saturday morning. He had previously dropped by and assessed the damage from the outside but needed to see it from the inside to ensure he could judge it accurately. After 15 minutes, our fears were realized and he said he would need to remove the cedar impression siding and remove the roof and replace it with a different system because the pitch wasn't steep enough. 
Within 48 hours, he provided a quote for his crew to come out and get the work done in a single day which was completely reasonable. He completed the work (guaranteed) as promised and left the site immaculate. He took pictures of the issue, of job progress and of the completed job. He mentioned he went around and filled some other issues he noticed while he was waiting for his crew to wrap up, no charge at all. He then discounted the quoted, agreed price 5% for angie's list deal I wasn't even aware of. Have you ever heard of a contractor accept less than an agreed price? Me neither.
Angie's List is a great resource for people to share experiences. I think the contractors who are honest and reasonable should be applauded too. We have been on the receiving end of some really lousy service so this was a new experience having someone do what they promised to do. Cary and his crew are the best in Monmouth County. We already have him pricing out finishing a storage space and will use him to build our deck in the spring. I cannot recommend Cary enough and you can reach me through Cary if you'd like to see his work firsthand.

"I purchased a new construction house built by B&A Construction. First day I step into the house, all the details in the house mesmerized me. You can tell they pay attention to details, lighting was mind blowing, fireplace was marvelous, all bedrooms were good size, marble floors look awesome and in addition they cleaned the house inside and outside before closing. I can not thank enough to Luis who helped me to get the copy of the survey which saved me good $$ for fencing permit.
