"It was very humid/hot that day but the owner worked alongside his men to provide constant guidance. Before he began he showed me several pictures of his work and I was therefore able to see what he was capable of. We then discussed in detail what I wanted and he made suggestions based on the size of my yard, what type of plants I wanted and would the design fit in with my neighborhood. At no time was I made to feel stupid about what I wanted. To the contrary he welcomed my input. When finished my yard looked fantastic! I was very pleased with how it turned out and also pleased that he had incorporated some of my ideas. He finally made some suggestions for future changes to my yard. I shared these with my husband who was very enthusiastic. Therefore I would rate the completed work as excellent and can hopefully hire him again soon to have him add in some of his suggestions. Mr Nunez was professional, polite and easy to talk to."

"Lou and his team were outstanding.  No slackers, and Lou kept them busy doing tree-work.  I took the day off to be available in case of questions, and I'm glad I did because Lou brought up issues as he found them and we were able to steer the crew towards doing the things I cannot (cutting down trees) and away from the things I can do (raking up tree stump grindings, for example).  By the way, NOTHING got in the way of that stump-grinder... stump... rocks... nothing survived it.

They arrived at 8:15AM and stayed through 4:15PM.  I'm happy to host their sign on my front yard for a while to let others know I'm pleased with the job they did.

Charles is also very creative and 100% trustworthy We met with nine top rated companies before picking Charles & Son (recommend by a friend in Upper Montclair as well as good reviews on Angie's List).
