"It was very humid/hot that day but the owner worked alongside his men to provide constant guidance. Before he began he showed me several pictures of his work and I was therefore able to see what he was capable of. We then discussed in detail what I wanted and he made suggestions based on the size of my yard, what type of plants I wanted and would the design fit in with my neighborhood. At no time was I made to feel stupid about what I wanted. To the contrary he welcomed my input. When finished my yard looked fantastic! I was very pleased with how it turned out and also pleased that he had incorporated some of my ideas. He finally made some suggestions for future changes to my yard. I shared these with my husband who was very enthusiastic. Therefore I would rate the completed work as excellent and can hopefully hire him again soon to have him add in some of his suggestions. Mr Nunez was professional, polite and easy to talk to."

I could completely trust the team. There were no slackers on the team and no one cutting corners. The whole team brought a "can-do" attitude which was a pleasure to deal with when changes were required from original project scope. They strived throughout to ensure that I was happy with the work. While Sage wasn't the cheapest upfront, I believe they were the best value given the quality of work delivered. I will certainly be using Ed and his team going forward for all my landscaping needs."

Charles is also very creative and 100% trustworthy We met with nine top rated companies before picking Charles & Son (recommend by a friend in Upper Montclair as well as good reviews on Angie's List). He gave us a great computer generated design before they did the work. Huge crew with lots of equipment. As a producer who builds a lot of movie sets, I know a highly skilled and hard working crew when I see one. We could not be happier with the work they did. We had one small electrical issue three months later, and Charles sent his crew over the same day and fixed the problem. We are now hiring Charles & Son to do more landscaping work, some structural work on our garage, and interior stone flooring. From an integrity, work ethic, an quality perspective, I give these guys an A. (BTW, their bookkeeping dept. caught an accidental overpayment we made on our last check, and sent us back a check for the overpayment.)"
