"We hired Ernest and Sons to construct our patio tiles. We purchased 2' X 2' Tiles and I have to say they did a gorgeous job. I was so pleased with the way they showed up when they said they would. The men that laid out on my job worked so hard. The labor was very strenuous but they never took a break. They were the most conscientious and polite workers I've ever dealt with. They worked neatly, cleaned up totally afterward, and just had a great deal of respect for our property. They really did a beautiful job and Ernest, the owner is a real gentleman also. Love this company!"

"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"Jack contacted us on the first day and agreed to meet with us after we filled out a form on Angie’s list to find a general contractor in our new hometown. It was immediately obvious that Jack and his son, Dom, knew what they were doing and so we were hopeful the estimate would fit into our budget. He strictly honors the contract. He worked personally with Livingston city authorities for job permit. John spent a lot of time with the city inspectors and completed all their recommendations. "My wife and I DO NOT use anyone who is not on Angie's List so we understand the importance of having accurate, fair reviews. We found Cary on Angie's List with overall great feedback on jobs he had done so we called him in for an estimate. Despite being very busy, he made the time to come over on a Saturday morning. He had previously dropped by and assessed the damage from the outside but needed to see it from the inside to ensure he could judge it accurately. After 15 minutes, our fears were realized and he said he would need to remove the cedar impression siding and remove the roof and replace it with a different system because the pitch wasn't steep enough. 
Within 48 hours, he provided a quote for his crew to come out and get the work done in a single day which was completely reasonable. He completed the work (guaranteed) as promised and left the site immaculate. He took pictures of the issue, of job progress and of the completed job. He mentioned he went around and filled some other issues he noticed while he was waiting for his crew to wrap up, no charge at all. He then discounted the quoted, agreed price 5% for angie's list deal I wasn't even aware of. Have you ever heard of a contractor accept less than an agreed price? Me neither.
Angie's List is a great resource for people to share experiences. I think the contractors who are honest and reasonable should be applauded too. We have been on the receiving end of some really lousy service so this was a new experience having someone do what they promised to do. Cary and his crew are the best in Monmouth County. We already have him pricing out finishing a storage space and will use him to build our deck in the spring. I cannot recommend Cary enough and you can reach me through Cary if you'd like to see his work firsthand.
