Welcome to Straight Line Painters and Services LLC, a small treasure coast family-owned & operated painting company. Interior and exterior painting by a highly-skilled crew that specializes in working in occupied homes. We're professionals at working around furniture, dogs, high ceilings, and a demanding schedule. When it's time to repaint your exterior it's important to hire the right painter. Hiring the cheapest painter may save you a few dollars but having a professional company gives you peace of mind knowing it's done right. And guaranteed by a solid company. While the lowest price "painter" may cut corners prepping, using cheap paint & unskilled painters our company Straight Line Painters and Services LLC gives you the best value. Skilled full-time painters, quality prep & premium PPG / Porter Paints and we're upfront with what we do listing our scope of work & warranties on our website. So many painters here come & go, hire one year, and next year he's nowhere to be found so his "guarantee" is not much good. At Straight Line Painters LLC we hire skilled painters not laborers and have been in the painting trade for over 15 years.

"Fair warning to consumers. Terrible. From the beginning it was obvious that the guys on the job were not experienced floor installers. besides poor workmanship they had no respect for our house. Simple things like putting ram board down on the new floors as to not damage them wasn't done. - trim installed wrong - fixed after I pointed it out - covered a heating vent - fixed after I pointed it out - many scratches on the new floor - fixed after I pointed it out - Every time they used the toilet the seat was left up. - lids to some of my paint cans not seals another is all crushed in because they used their boot to seal it. - They didn't put our furniture back in the rooms - cleanup was sloppy and incomplete. -there are a few gaps between the floor and wall that the 1/4 round doesn't cover. - There are over a dozen "creaky" areas in the floor."

RMB Construction is a locally owned business, operated by a sole proprietor. We have 20 years of building construction experience. Our customers satisfaction is always guaranteed. We also do sub-contract work for commercial and residential properties including electrical contracts.

"Rudolph and his team were absolutely fantastic. We had a 1950s basement that needed a full gut job and requested pretty basic finishes (drywall, electrical, vinyl flooring, carpet, paint, woodwork, etc.). They provided a reasonable estimate and stuck to it. Rudolph was very transparent with me through the whole process. Our old basement had some framing that was not up to code so we had to make a few adjustments to our workplan and he always thought about the most aesthetically pleasing options. They were respectful, neat, and we are super happy with the finished results. I will absolutely reach out to them for our next remodeling project. Thanks to the entire RMB team, especially Rudolph, Melissa, and Eddie!"

Woodworking questions, answered by experts

Building a wooden carport costs between $3,000 and $12,000, depending on size, materials, and custom features.

Trex is not stronger than wood, but it lasts longer than wood and is heavier. Trex holds up well to the elements and is resistant to termites thanks to its resilient composition of plastic, reclaimed wood, and sawdust. Trex decking is rot and warp-resistant, making it especially useful in areas that experience a lot of snow and rain.

Wood, cedar, pressure-treated pine, and redwood are commonly used. They offer durability and natural beauty suitable for outdoor structures.

Pole barns and carports are similar in that they rely on posts for support and are often not connected to a primary structure. The main difference between the two is that pole barns usually include walls that surround the entire perimeter of the structure, while carports generally remain open on three or four sides. It’s possible to insulate garage doors and even exterior walls on pole barns to create a comfortable workspace, and it’s a bit more secure for storage purposes. However, carports are more affordable.

It’s almost always more affordable to buy an existing home than it is to build new construction unless you’re planning on building a new home yourself. A DIY house build will typically cost less than buying an existing house. However, new construction comes with higher property taxes, so long-term costs may be higher for new construction, even if you DIY.
