Worker showed up promptly on Monday 9AM, the agreed start time. Taping and second coat were done with setting compound, top coat applied same day. Worker returned next day 4PM to sand, and finished at approximately 6PM. Finished product was POOR quality. Setting compound was not sanded/leveled prior to topcoat, and as a result all seams were much too high. Several seams had tape that was not fully bedded in the seam and could not be finished flat, even in factory tapered seams. Several corners were quick-patched on the second day and sanded before dry, leaving breaks/tears/bulges in the topcoat. Required a week's worth of work to sand all of the topcoat and setting compound down, and reapply new topcoat. Would have been quicker and cheaper to tape/finish from scratch on my own.
