"The workers responded to my request and were on time to do the work as expected. However, I felt that the pricing for the project was not clear, we agreed on 325 for the welded part and door alignment but i was charged 350. So make sure that the price includes taxes cuz this was never brought up due to the extra change according to Anthony's iron Repair & Restoration."

"Not well. Unreliable. Lots of excuses. Subcontractors he uses were horrible. One took down payment and didn't do any agreed upon work. Another did the work and months later everything broke and I couldn't get anyone to respond to emails, texts, or calls. I had to pay someone else to come in and trouble shoot and repair. The one project he got done took MONTHS longer than it should have for no good reason. Do yourself a favor and use someone else."

While many fence companies and fence material retailers refer to their metal fencing as wrought iron fencing, most of it is actually ornamental wrought iron fence. This means that the fence is made to look like traditional wrought iron but is actually made out of either steel or aluminum. Old wrought iron fences typically found at estate sales or on older properties are much heavier and much more prone to rust than the ornamental wrought iron that newer homes and fences use.

A wrought iron fence costs about $3,150 on average. The price can range from as low as $470 to as high as $10,310 or more. The cost to install a wrought iron fence can vary dramatically depending on the size (in terms of height and linear feet), design complexity, shape, and add-ons such as gates and decorative flourishes. Pickets can sit as much as 6 inches off the ground, but setting it any higher could let pets in or out of your yard unintentionally.
