"I needed my driveway and entryway cleared with the most recent blizzard as I was out of town, and they were the first to get back to me. The response time was super quick and efficient and they came to my house after the storm passed and cleared the main part of my driveway and entryway out within an hour. Very fast workers for having to deal with 20 inches of snow. Will definitely keep them in mind for any future projects."

"To whom it may concern, I am Marcos Martinez I live in the area of Bergen County to be exactly in 314 Henry st Fairview NJ 07022. Three weeks ago I wanted a renovation in my apartment and one of my friends recomended me Mario Cana from C&J PAINTING AND CONSTRUCTION LLC, and I contacted Mario Cana from C&J PAINTING AND CONSTRUCTION LLC to look at the job that I needed and get an estimate from him, later on we got a deal with his company and I asked him to get me the job before a certain day and I was suprice that they accomplished what I asked for. His crew has done a wonderful job. The crew of Mario are always on time, professional and work hard to get the job done in a timely manner. "We hired Sembrador Landscaping to clean up an abundance of overgrown weeds and debris that accumulated on our property that my husband can no longer maintain due to age and medical conditions. The crew was professional, polite, and worked diligently. The owner sent pictures and texts updating me throughout the day. We will use them again and totally recommend this company."

Snow Removal FAQs, answered by experts

While it’s less common than on other kinds of roofs, yes, ice dams can form on metal roofs. Metal roofs, particularly those with snow guards installed, can still accumulate ice at the roof edge, although ice dams on metal roofs are less likely to cause roof or interior damage than on traditional asphalt shingle roofs.

The process to winterize your landscaping depends on the plants you have, but generally speaking, you should rake your lawn to avoid leaves from smothering your grass and leading to mold and fungi growth, wrap young trees to protect from fluctuating temperatures, and fertilize your lawn to provide some nutrients for the grass through the colder temperatures. You can also consider marking off small trees and shrubs to avoid accidentally damaging them with snow removal tools.

Snowblowers come in three different sizes: first-, second-, and third-stage blowers. Each additional stage is larger with higher intakes, more powerful, and has more gear options.

A first-stage blower, also called a snow thrower, is usually best for snow 6 to 8 inches or below. Electric snow blowers are usually only available in this size. If you regularly get snow that’s well above six inches, consider a second-stage snow blower. If snowstorms dump 2 to 3 feet of snow repeatedly during winter, you need a third-stage snow blower to tackle it.

Services include plowing, shoveling, salting, and de-icing for parking lots, walkways, and entrances.

Before firing up your snowblower, ensure that essential switches are in the correct starting position. Take a moment to double-check the throttle, fuel shut-off, and choke, ensuring they're firmly set to the "on" position. Precision in verifying each switch's alignment is crucial, so don't rush through this critical step.
