"Awesome! I worked with Ed at Main Line Kitchens to design our kitchen during a very stressful whole house renovation / expansion. To say he worked with me is an understatement. Ed might just have earned his counselor credentials as he guided me through some uncertainties, even calling me late one night from home after receiving a distressed email about a decision I was making. He ultimately helped steer me towards a cabinet line that fit my desired look, features, timeline, and budget and helped me see the pros and cons of the choices made along the way. He never pressured me and was able to accommodate a seemingly impossible timeline. He even came out to measure twice without complaint when my contractors weren't ready the first time -- not at all his fault -- but he was gracious and kind and took it in stride. Ed was personable and easy to work with and I never felt like a number in his book. When we received our cabinets I wasn't happy with a couple doors (normal issues you would anticipate with a large order and a perfectionist on the receiving end) Ed worked with the vendor and had them replaced and shipped immediately to me and the job wasn't delayed. The vendor even called direct to ensure I was happy with the replacements. It is clear MLK has a strong reputation with their suppliers. Ed was quick with recommendations for other vendors when I needed materials fast for flooring, countertops, etc. and all the other vendors knew and respected Main Line and Ed. Our new kitchen is truly the center of our home and we have Ed to thank for bringing it all together. I would recommend Ed and MLK to anyone in need of kitchen design services and cabinetry. In fact, I already have. I did my due diligence and shopped around and was very happy with the competitive pricing that came along with the white glove service and hand holding I received through this process. "Kip spent several hours when we first met with him to discuss our options with the remodel.  We had ideas about what we wanted, but weren't sure how to turn those ideas into something that would work in the space we were dealing with.  Kip listened to our ideas, asked some questions, and came up with a design using CAD (computer program).  He printed out the remodel plan for us. Kip also did structural calculations since we were removing a supporting wall.  Kip had a rough estimate ready for us that day.

Once we decided to use Millenium, Kip took us shopping to get some ideas for the materials we would need to pick out.  The way Millenium works is that the client purchases many of the materials separately - the flooring, cabinets, countertops, appliances, etc.  So as the client, you manage those purchases and any problems that may arise.  In our opinion, this is part of what keeps the prices very reasonable.  But, it can also be a bit stressful if you are not familiar with doing a remodel.  This means that if you select more expensive countertops, cabinets, etc. compare to what was included in the estimate, the total cost will increase from the original quote. 

Once our project began, there were a lot of different people in our house.  Everyone was very personable, and we felt comfortable with them in our home.  Along the way, there were some things that had to be changed.  For example, we decided to go with nail down floors vs click and lock.  We were not given a hard time about making the change and the up-charge was very reasonable.  
The most frustrating part of the project was how long it took.  There were some delays along the way due to 1) a soffit that had plumbing and 2) the countertops taking longer than we were officially told by 75 Cabinets.  Once the project was completed, we were extremely pleased!  There were a few things that needed to be taken care of after completion, and they were promptly taken care of. Overall, we love our new downstairs and were impressed that Millenium was able to do what we wanted while staying within our budget."
