This was the second time we used Rey (had previously built an addition for us in our last house) and both times we finished the projects on schedule and were very happy with the quality of the workmanship. Rey was on site every day to manage each phase of the build, and every subcontractor he brought in was respectful and courteous. We managed to live in our house throughout most of the build with two small children and you could tell that the team really cared about keeping a clean and safe jobsite. "We used Your Way Contractors to gut renovate a finished attic space that was in bad shape. Gene and his team were fantastic to work with. Gene and his son were incredibly responsive to any questions or concerns we had. I had been using this room as my home office and the temperature would drop down 45 in the winter and go up to a stifling 85 in the summer. I am happy to say it is the toastiest room in the house on cold days. We are thrilled with how the room turned out. We will use Your Way Contractors on future home renovation projects. "Can’t pay enough compliments to John and his guys. They did a great job overall and managed the project very smoothly through the entire permitting process. From the very beginning it was apparent John was detail oriented and most importantly, concerned about delivering a quality product to his customers. John is very hands on, and his approach of shopping with the homeowner to make sure everything will “work” during installation I think is a key component of job success and customer satisfaction. The guys worked straight thru with work only interrupted by permits/inspections. He involved and asked us about anything that came up along the way that we had not previously talked about. Guys were very professional, being respectful of our home and working neatly/efficiently. "This review is for experience of getting quote only - Pros: - Responsive by text and accessible by email - A - Reasonable pricing for some work, though was able to accommodate overall budget (~15K) - C Cons: - Attitude: came off as dismissive towards "small" projects (15K), lacking professionalism - D - May not be best option if looking for design ideas or services beyond just paying for labor Got quotes from Quality Renovations on two separate occasions. Both times, the liaison was responsive via email and phone/text. However, ended up not going with them due to 1) lack of follow up the first time and 2) poor attitude the second time. Quotes provided were reasonable for the most part (may not be the best price you are going to get piecemeal, but able to stay within a reasonable budget), so could be right contractor if you have a job where you are just looking for someone to do the work. Not your best options if you are also looking for suggestions for design ideas/suggestions or beyond bare bones service (attitude was dismissive toward 'small projects'). While renovations in general can be a painful process, and level of customer service varies widely, no one appreciate poor attitude especially when customer was very reasonable and accommodating in requests throughout the process."

"I found Nilsen Building and Remodeling from Angie's List and at the time, they had a 'Painter for a Day' promotion going on that I couldn't refuse - I thought, it's so affordable what could possibly go wrong? I reached out to David to coordinate right away so to take advantage of my voucher, and he was in touch shortly after and we were able to lock in a start date two weeks later. I was concerned about scheduling without having him stop by and seeing the space first, but he assured me there wouldn't be any concerns and that the job could be done within the 8 hours. To sum up my experience in one sentence - I am so happy with my finished, painted room and I will certainly be using David and his team for more projects around my house and would highly recommend him to anyone looking in the North Jersey area. The job included painting a lot of trim work and 2 accent walls. Once you get past the bright purple color I chose, you can see their high-quality work and attention-to-detail all throughout.
