Small jobs welcome

"Stopped by almost immediately and Got a fair quote and was the cheapest. 2 other contractors never even showed up and one just looked at google maps to give me an estimate. It wasn’t a big job (2 car driveway), but when I was ready for the work, they showed up the next day as agreed to do the demolition and compacted stone/ gravel. They called and asked me on what day would be best for the paving and I told them asap or Thursday. They showed up first thing on Thursday and finished the job in about 2-3 hours. They then cleaned up everything and the driveway looks great! They did a fantastic job at a great and fair price! Very respectful of neighbors and my property! I would definitely use them again and I highly recommend them!!"

Concrete Driveways questions, answered by experts

It is generally not recommended to use dish soap in a pressure washer. Dishwashing liquid is formulated for cooler water, and the warmer water used in a pressure washer can create excessive suds, potentially damaging the machine's tubing and other components. Always check the manufacturer’s instructions for recommended detergents. If you find yourself in a pinch, you can try a highly diluted solution, such as one tablespoon of dish soap per 1.5 quarts of water, to avoid clogging the machine.

It depends on the type of surface, but if you’re preparing to pressure wash a driveway, you’ll start by using a broom or leaf blower to get rid of dirt, leaves, and other debris. Then, move any nearby items (like outdoor furniture and potted plants) and cover in-ground plants with a tarp or plastic sheet. After that, you can apply degreaser spray or another pretreatment solution to any stains and scrub them with a stiff brush before pressure washing.

Yes, most pressure washing companies use your home's water supply, typically from an outdoor spigot. However, some companies can bring their own water in a tank or truck. This is less common and may incur additional costs for filling and hauling the water. It's a good idea to ask a company which method they use when you call for a cost estimate.

You can use a pressure washer to clean a whole host of surfaces. The exterior siding of your house is one of the most popular spots, as well as your driveway, garage floor, patio or deck, and even your outdoor furniture. Just be mindful about the amount of pressure you apply to different materials—concrete can handle a lot more than wood, for example.

You don't technically need to seal your driveway after pressure washing, but doing so will help keep your driveway clean for longer. The best driveway sealer depends on the type of driveway you have. To seal asphalt, consider an asphalt emulsion sealer, fast-drying sealer, or latex acrylic sealer. Concrete driveways commonly use acrylic sealers or penetrating sealers.
