"I’ve been a customer of Wilber’s for several years. Up till now I’ve always found them to be reasonable in price, professional, reliable and trustworthy. I don’t know what’s happened but, they are no longer the company they used to be. I recently hired Wilbers to repair a loose newel post at the bottom of my stairs. When Danny the estimator came he explained that it might be an easy fix or more involved if they needed to install a new 4X4 interior post. Though I requested that he provide estimates for both scenarios he only sent the estimate for the worst case scenario. I let that go because I trusted that they would do the right thing should it prove to be an easy fix. When they arrived it turned out that all that was needed was to replace the wooden board in the basement with a 2 ft. 2x4 and tighten the bolt that runs inside the post. The workers were here for 1 hour and for this Wilber’s decided that a fair price was $820. It seemed absolutely outrageous to me that they would charge me $820 to tighten a bolt so I tried reaching out to Wilber 3 times and asked that he call me back to discuss. Well he never called me back. I can only assume that he knows full well that he did is wrong and is unable to justify his outrageous pricing. It’s sad that Wilber thinks this is how you should treat a loyal customer and it’s certainly disappointing to discover what an unprofessional and unethical person he is. I certainly will never utilize the services of Wilbers ever again and I would caution anyone thinking of hiring them to think twice. Wilber is a man that lacks integrity and therefore someone you cannot trust to do business with."

"As a homeowner for 40+ years, Paris is the only contractor I would call to help with my next project. Reasonably priced, responsive, efficient, clean, conscientious and he picks up the phone when you call! Who does that in 2025? Another example of his excellent customer service: he returned a $20 Amazon purchase for me! My major renovation (3 bathrooms, kitchen, paint, wood flooring) was completed in a short amount of time. He was flexible and accommodating to changes I made late in the project and was always so respectful of my ideas and suggestions. He gave excellent advice on how to arrange materials to create a visually appealing space. He is detail-oriented and made sure every little thing came out perfect! He actually came back promptly to fix a minor problem, which took only a few minutes — after he had already completed the whole job and I paid him! I have already recommended him to several family members and friends, and they are all as delighted and grateful as I am. "

Reasonably priced, responsive, efficient, clean, conscientious and he picks up the phone when you call! Who does that in 2025? "I really hate dealing with projects like this as I hear such horror stories from friends and neighbors. But it had to get done so..... Enter ABS Home Improvements. I could tell when I met Thomas that he was a pro's pro. Asked all the right questions and showed past examples of his work. Does not hurt that he has close to 50 reviews and all 5 stars. We hired Thomas, signed the contract and worked out the start date. From demo to touch ups I felt like I was in great hands. No delays that were not for good reasons. His guys showed up when they were supposed to, they were respectful, friendly and very knowledgeable. You just could tell he would not accept anything less than stellar work from his subs. His main guy handled large format tiles like an artist. If I could leave a 10 star review I would do so. Do NOT hesitate to give ABS a call. They were on point and just a pleasure to work with. As well very reasonably priced for the workmanship."
