Customers say: Quality work

"Very knowledgeable!! He was able to tell me why my tree was dying, knew names of all the plants, pointed out things I didn't notice and even removed poison ivy I didn't know I had. He was great! He was the only one who got back to me with an estimate so it was hard to compare if it was the price was right but I am very pleased with how hard they worked and the end result. It looks great!"

"Gerson, Alex and Frank are really nice guys to work with. They did an excellent job cleaning up my lawn that was long overdue for mowing. I showed them my pain points and they were sure to take care of them. They will be back for weekly lawn maintenance. Thank you!"

"Blanca and Roxanne arrived early (I was told around 2pm and they arrived at 1:30pm) and spent 3 hours thoroughly cleaning my townhouse. I was very impressed, especially by their work on the kitchen stove, microwave, and bathrooms, which had not been cleaned properly in quite a long time. I appreciated the fact that they asked me to review their work before moving on to the next phase. They were very hard working and responded promptly to my request to use a special polish on the stainless steel refrigerator and to give special attention to the bathtub and shower. I thought $200 was a bit pricey compared to other services in the area, but used them because of all the excellent reviews here. All in all, it was worth it."

Small jobs welcome

"They were very prompt on calling to set up a time to cut our grass. Our grass was very long when they came - our lawn mower broke and my husband & I are downsizing and did not want to invest $$ in another lawn mower. The job they did was great and we look forward to them taking care of our lawn during the summer."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

You may see specialty products for sale to remove lead dust, such as D-Lead surface wipes. But you do not need to buy a special cleaner just for lead dust. A regular all-purpose cleaner, like 409 or something similar, is sufficient for cleanup. Just make sure to follow the manufacturer's directions when using it and to dilute with water.

While the EPA provides guidelines for homeowners to perform DIY lead paint removal, it is a risky process and generally not recommended due to serious health risks and strict regulatory requirements. The process requires precise safety precautions, such as wearing a respirator and protective eyeglasses, creating sealed exits, and using a HEPA vacuum for cleanup. To ensure the job is done safely, effectively, and in compliance with regulations, it is highly recommended to hire a professional lead abatement company. Certified professionals have the necessary training, experience, and specialized equipment (like chemical strippers and HEPA vacuums) to handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely.

You can sell a house with lead paint, but there are several requirements. If you are aware that lead paint exists anywhere in the home, you must disclose that to potential buyers. Required home inspections will often uncover lead paint, especially for older houses where lead paint may still be a problem. If you have taken steps to encapsulate lead, you should provide buyers with full documentation of the project so it won’t cause any problems later on.

The best way to remove lead paint is by wet hand sanding and removing all dust and residue with a HEPA vacuum. Professionals may also strip and scrape lead-based paint with a paint scraper. In some cases, you may choose to have a pro encapsulate or enclose your lead-based paint surface by covering it with a sealant or a new material. You may also choose to replace the material altogether.

Chlorine has a shelf life of between six months and several years, depending on its type and formulation. Liquid chlorine can often lose its effectiveness in just a few weeks. Pool owners can find themselves with overstock that they need to get rid of. The best way to dispose of excess chlorine is to take it to a hazardous waste collection site and let the pros handle it.
