We had two huge oak trees removed. If I could give them a higher rating I would. Their communication is terrific. The crew remove the trees like a well oiled machine. They had a septic and electric wires to deal with and completed the job with precision. The clean up was so good no one would ever know we had trees down. Reasonable price as well. I highly recommend this company from the office staff to the guys doing the work!!!

A large Mulberry tree in my yard was uprooted by a powerful storm, and ended up resting partly on my fence, and partly on my pool deck and in my pool. I contacted Geils on the recommendation of my Brother. Brian came to estimate the job, and I knew right away, that this was the company I would hire. The Geils team showed up and was busy from the minute they got to my house. One of the guys got into the pool up to his waist to cut up the parts of the tree that were in the pool. They were able to gently lift the large branches up and over my fence with a small backhoe, and the tree was cut up, chipped and hauled away in under 2 hours. The whole process went off without a hitch. These guys are great at what they do, and I would recommend them to anyone needing tree work! Keep Geils number handy.

Not only did they give me the best estimate of the three I've got by 20%, but they came in with a large crew that got the work done incredibly fast, and did a great job cleaning up. Can't rec'd them highly enough for this one job they did. They were also super easy about scheduling and right on time.

Over the years GEILS Tree Service has been and continues to be our “go to” trusted tree service family. Their quick response to our recent “leaning and uprooting” tree and its accompanying Ash Bore compatriots was, and is, much appreciated and typical of the prompt and competitively priced response we have come to know and value whenever we call upon them. As always, we were thoroughly riveted by the amazing way Bryan and his team worked together and completely mesmerized as Bryan settled his GEIL “moon ship spider” in place and began to navigate his bucket assent high into our treetops. Truly, we’ve never seen such an amazing feat of technical coordination and cooperative team work. It might not be appropriate to compare Bryan and team to a “ballet,” but as we watched them work, this is the parallel that comes to our minds and it is meant as the highest of comparison complements. Being able to drop tree limbs, both small and large, within inches of a chosen ground space is phenomenal and the way everyone carefully gathered and removed all the fallen debris, chipped the same, placed large limbs within trucks, and thoroughly cleaned our entire grounds area up was a pleasure to watch and very much appreciated. We have sought the help of GEILS Tree Service several times over the years, and on all of these occasions it has been a tremendous pleasure to work with the entire GEILS’s team from reception through completion. We have had quite a bit of extensive tree work completed by Giels Tree Service on our property over the last 5 years. Most recently the removal of over 130 ash trees. Geils Tree Service worked quickly and efficiently to take down the trees. Clean up afterwards was outstanding. The job was completed in one day, and we are extremely satisfied with every aspect of the work. Brian showed up within an hour of my call. I had a huge Oak that had storm damage. He assessed the situation, gave me an extremely fair price and began taking down the tree immediately. Another crew showed up within an hour to clean up all the branches and debris. While they were here they also raised the canopy on another oak for me. They cleaned up beautifully, repaired an area or the lawn where the original branch had damaged and were done in about 4 1/2 hours! Unbelievably professional, safe, neat and courteous. I've used them in the past and they always maintain the highest standards. I highly recommend Geils!

We needed a tree to be cut down and many other trees needed trimming. Also needed cutting of over grown bushes and removal of invasive vines that were choking out other bushes and trees. Very professional and on time. Completed job within a few hours.Good clean up and removal of debris. No issues and will use them again and recommend them.

Absolutely the best experience from start to finish. Very large dead tree removal on a hill! Their skill level was so impressive. They cleaned everything up upon completion. We will be calling them back again and recommending to everyone we know!

Geils did a great job. They were very responsive and helped get the project complete before some building work was going to be done. They took care of everything and even handled a few last minute requests. While evaluating the job they also made some recommendations to help save some of the trees we wanted to save. I would recommend them highly.

Both times they came with a large crew and heavy and light equipment to do job. They were fast, efficient and professional. By far the best tree service I have used.

Excellent work and they raked up and cleaned up all the areas after they were done. The workers were diligent, professional, and hard working. I would recommend them to anyone and did to my daughter. They left my yard in better shape then when they started.

Geils Tree Service is the best!! They removed 2 tree's, grinded stumps and pruned about 8 tree's. The guys worked hard all day and did an excellent job!! I was very happy with the work they did and also with the clean up, they were very thorough! I will definitely recommend them to family and friends and will use them again when I need tree service.

The tree service person never came to my property after I received various calls from the scheduler stating that she would try to have him show up.  This went on for over a month and even after I was told I would receive a visit from the vendor on a specific morning, the vendor never showed up.  The scheduler left me a voicemail that if I was going to be home, she would have him come later in the afternoon.  Unfortunately, I didn't hear that voicemail until later that night.  I finally gave up calling back because I was tired of waiting for someone to show up to give me a quote.

Geil's was recommended to us by a local nursery, Caliper Farms.  Bryan was very punctual and helpful in the estimate process.  I really liked the way they priced our job - a flat rate for the day in which they could accomplish everything.  It turned out to be a very full day (about 12 hours) and they had to come back to grind the stumps, but the cost did not change.  They also did even more than we were expecting in terms of trimming and clearing bushes, it was a huge job.  All of the crew members were very nice and obviously skilled in their work.
My wife would want me to mention that while trimming a large bush, a crew member found a bird's nest with four small baby birds.  They were careful to keep the nest in-tact, removed that particular branch and hoisted it into another bush that we were keeping.  Bryan later mentioned that they often find "critters" during their work and are very careful to follow the proper protocols for relocating / preserving them.
Bryan mentioned that he loves his work, especially jobs like ours where you can see a big difference, and it was obvious in his attention to detail and passion that this was a true statement.
Overall, we couldn't have been happier with the service and believe it was done at a very fair price.

They did great work! They were very nice and informative. For the amount of work they did, the pricing was very fair. There were two teams of workers, one that took down a tree and one that trimmed some shrubs. Although there was a slight language barrier with the team that trimmed the shrubs, they were able to fix everything. He was also helpful in saving some shrubs that I thought were diseased and would die. I would use them again and he's going to be my go-to tree trimmer from here on out!
