"We are genuinely sorry this member's spouse feels the way she does. The original budget estimate was provided to the member over the phone sight-unseen based upon limited information provided by the member. After seeing the job and consulting with the member the budget was increased reflecting the actual work required to complete the job under his unique circumstances. The project proceeded with full authorization and approval by the member. To save money, member decided to complete trim work himself. In response to the member's expressed concerns, our owner stopped by to see the work while hoping to meet the member who was actively involved. Arrived at a time convenient for most customers; after the dinner hour at 7:00 and asked to speak with the member who evidently was not home. After addressing the previously expressed concerns, our owner spoke with the member the next day and had a perfectly pleasant conversation and cheerfully honored his request to apply a discount."
