"• Date of incident 02/19 referred by plumber o Showed up broke my walls and tore up my floors put driers then left work completed in less then three hours o Returned three days later to pick up the driers • Received $1,000 up front and another $7100 after agreeing to accept the payment for the mitigation from the insurance and not to balance bill • Quoted over $14k for the rebuild which was way too high and therefore I decided to go w/another contractor • After rejecting the contract for the rebuild I received a balance bill for the mitigation for another $1,791.00 indicating he should be paid for the time spent disputing the claim amount w/the insurance and threatening that failure to pay would result in a lien on my property • Lesson learned will never accept a referral again w/o doing my own research"
