I had several random things that I needed done around the house (blinds hung, bathroom vanity light replaced, ceiling fan repaired, the lock on the patio door repaired, the privacy fence gate repaired, and light bulbs replaced on another ceiling fan that was mounted too high for me to reach). He figured out an ingenious way to hoist the heavy door to the second floor, and very skillfully and quickly adjusted the frame to fit the door, and affixed the heavy-duty hinges. And for the first-floor door, he figured out a way to repair the existing frame (rather than replace it), thereby saving me hundreds of dollars. All the work was done to a very high standard by a skilled professional who worked quickly and efficiently. And the price-tag for all this was remarkably low -- only a third the price I'd been quoted by another local handyman firm.
