A fast, strong, respectful, diligent, and friendly crew. Delivery in SC was on schedule; Brian, Steve, & Francisco unloaded 2 packed trucks in 3 hrs! Tremendous team and effort! "Initially, Eli and the movers did a good job packing up the items, for the interstate move. There was a little confusion on the delivery date, which Eli assisted. However, two items were damaged in the move- a couch and bookshelf and the movers scammed me with an elevator charge of $300 (which was never discussed and wondered if the 2 movers would have preferred the 4 flights of stairs instead). Also, the movers used my bathroom and who clearly did not wash their hands. I relayed all of this to Eli via email, along with pictures of the damaged items. I was promised that the damaged items were submitted for insurance, back in January and that I should wait 3 months. It is now July. 3 emails and one call later, I have heard nothing and will be submitting to small claims for the damaged items to recoup."

"We moved yesterday and had an Amazing experience with First-Rate Moving! When I called and left a message - Csabi called me back immediately and scheduled to meet with us the very next day. Csabi was so nice and explained everything perfectly! On moving day we had five Fantastic guys lead by Foreman Javier! They were exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. Our furniture arrived in perfect condition. I would highly recommend this company!"

"They got the job done very well! Competent, strong, smart about what fits where and capable of moving everything carefully. It was wet out and they properly set up work blankets to protect the carpets. Often asked if there was anything else they could do to get the job done - wasted no time but didn’t rush. "Their price was the best and I was skeptical after reading other reviews where people said they increased the price upon arrival. I inquired about this and my sales rep said this is usually for additional items not included in the quote, which makes sense. As I was packing I called Aaron to add things so there were no surprises at the cost of my move. The guys showed up on time and drove my furniture to my elderly parents' house in Delaware, where they kindly set up the bed at no extra charge. Aaron was wonderful and responsive the whole time. Will definitely be using them again and highly recommend."

"We booked these movers about two weeks out and told them we had a small street. They said it would be no problem. They got here and told us they cannot go down the street. I suggested an alternate street as I am familiar with small street and know a great alternitive. Immediately the guy got rude with me, he took us trying to explain the situation as us trying to argue. He canceled and refused to do the work. Unreliable, unprofessional and the price is not worth the hassle of not being able to count on someone."
