to the final installation. I wasn't home at the time of the install but my wife was very impressed with the crew. They covered the area with a tarp to catch debris, removed a couple of planters that might get damaged, took down the gas grille on the back porch and returned everything to its rightful place after all was done. I was amazed that the entire project was done in one day! The clean up was exceptional! Other than a couple of small fragments of the old roof that I would find when raking the fall leaves I have yet to find an old nail. My sister, who also had her roof replaced by another contractor, was still finding roofing nails months after they finished. And with small children running around she wasn't very pleased with the efforts of cleaning up even though she did see him walking around the property with a magnet. Preparation is the key and using a tarp is smart. Those were the Pros, and now for a balanced review, a couple of cons. After my inspection of the roof I noticed that the shingles on the "eyebrows" over the garage doors were wavy and the siding that met the roofing shingles didn't come down all the way, looked sort of lifted. Also, over the entrance to the kitchen door on the back porch one of the lengths of siding was detached from the house. Not exactly sure how you could miss that on a final inspection, it was pretty obvious and that would fall on the shoulders of the foreman or crew supervisor. Now back to the Pros. I called the company and they sent out one of the employees (I believe it was the crew supervisor) that following Saturday right after the install. Nice man, very polite (as were all the people we dealt with), no problem he said, I'll take care of anything you need. Pointed out the issues and he went right to work and resolved them both to our satisfaction. He added that if I see anything else to give them a call and they would take care of it as well. He even did us a favor by adjusting our flood lights over the garage since he had a ladder tall enough to reach them at 25ft (tried to tip him for the extra work, but he flatly refused!). It's been a few months now and we are thrilled with the look of the roof! We'll see how it weathers the winter but I have no doubt we and the next owners of this house will enjoy it for years to come. Cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Roofing King; recommend them with the highest regard. Just as a side note, my wife and I recommend that when you're deciding on a color for the shingles and you have narrowed it down to a couple of choices, ask for the sales rep to bring out a full size shingle sample that you can put up on the roof. Makes a huge difference! The full size sample will show you the variations in the shingle (color and shading patterns, especially with the HD shingles) that a small rectangular sample in a sample book just can't. When we did this, we actually wound up changing our minds as to the initial color choice. He stated he would be there the following day early in the morning to patch it, then later in the afternoon to seal it. At noon that day, I call him, he said he was running behind, but would stop by and introduce himself. When I met him in person, he said within 2 hours his crew would be there to get started. At about 7:00 PM that evening I left him a voice mail advising him that it seemed clear that they weren't coming and to give me a call to let me know when he would be coming. On 6/4/12, I left another, much ruder message on his voice mail advising that his buisness practice was unprofessional and I would spread that word. He called me on 6/8 and advised me that his mother was in a car accident and that he had to leave unexpectedly to FL. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and appoligized for the rude message on his voicemail. He said he would come between 9:00 and 10:00 AM on Sunday 6/10/12. Impressed that he worked Sundays I was delighted that I was going to get this done. He showed up around 2:00 PM. He then used my hose to water down his sealer. On top of that, he only applied one coat of the watered down sealer. One day after the job was complete, his patches showed as a brownish purple through the sealer and were cracked everywhere. I will not be contacting the company to fix it, as I have no faith that they will do it right. I will simply go out, buy good sealer, and do the job over."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/nh/derry/top-turf-landscaping-and-fences-reviews-4625384.htm"},"position":10}]}
Plant Watering reviews from real Angi homeowners in Tilton, NH
Outdoor X created a landscape centered on the stone wall they designed and constructed which has become the focus of the property. The work is beautifully done with stone work and plantings and frames the area integrating the previous elements of the landscape. I highly recommend Outdoor X.
Moe is a great guy and runs a tight ship. His crew put in an irrigation system, planted trees and shrubs, put down 2 inches of loam, hydroseeded and basically transformed my yard. They work hard and got the job done in like 4 days. I shopped around a lot and glad I chose them. I highly recommend.

It went very well. He responded to me very quick and I got the price all at the same time. He did a great job. Everything was good and he made sure everything was covered so he didn't hurt any of my plants. The chemical he used was great on the house.

FAQs for plant watering projects in Tilton, NH
Landscapers typically charge $25 to $50 per person per hour, which equals around $50 to $100 per hour for a two-person crew. These rates can vary depending on your location, the size of staff needed for the job, and overall job type. For example, a larger crew will be needed for structural additions and hardscaping versus planting flowers.
When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Lawn irrigation is the process of getting water to your lawn, grass and all, for it to grow. There are five main types of lawn irrigation methods:
Manual irrigation puts you in charge of the flow of water. Using a sprinkler head on your hose is best to evenly distribute the water across your entire lawn. This doesn’t take much time but requires you to be physically outside holding the hose.
Above-ground sprinklers attach to your hose and rotate or oscillate around your lawn. Since these are above-ground, they’ll need to be moved when it’s time to mow, and depending on the size of your property, you might need to move it around your yard for full coverage.
In-ground sprinklers are flush with the ground when not in use but pop up above the ground level when it's time to water the lawn. Piping for these sprinklers is all found underground, and there are different types of sprinkler heads for different uses and lawn sizes.
Drip irrigation involves drip lines that are more efficient than sprinklers for more extensive lawns. This involves a lot of digging since they are installed underground, but it makes it easy for you to mow.
Rainwater collection and irrigation uses nature’s precipitation to water your lawn. This option might not be available in every area since semi-reliable rainfall is needed, though the barrels for this system can range from 15 gallons to 10,000 gallons or more.
The cost of a lawn sprinkler system is $2,550 for the average homeowner. However, this price can range from $350 to $5,000 or more, depending on the type of sprinkler system you install, the size of your yard, and the type of sprinkler heads you choose. For example, rotating or oscillating sprinkler heads are more expensive than stationary ones, making the cost for one sprinkler head $2.50 to $30 each. Likewise, a yard that is 1/4 of an acre in size averages a total average price of $2,460; however, a one-acre yard averages a cost of $9,840.
Landscaping costs around $3,500 but varies widely from $200 to $14,000. Factors that play a part in your final landscaping price tag include:
Location
Yard size
Project size
Materials
Land preparation
Type of landscaping
Considering so many factors, it’s not surprising that the overall costs can differ. A typical landscaping project is flower bed installation, which averages between $800 and $3,000. However, landscape lighting installation is a higher-end project, with a price tag of $2,000 to $6,000.
