We discovered that a cabinet had been removed from the home and also the shed had been cleaned out. My realtor contacted the listing agent who claimed to have no idea that the seller had removed the cabinet. Later that morning I received a call from the title company stating that the title was not in the seller's name and that the sale could not move forward. On 10/16/15 the listing agent called my realtor and told her I could just move into the property if I wanted to! I refused since I felt that was not legal to do that. I requested my deposit back. The listing agency wanted me to sign an agreement that I would not make any claims against them and they would return my deposit. I refused to sign the document. The deposit was returned to me on 10/28/15. The property was put back on the market and the listing agency is telling prospective buyers that the owner died between the time that I made my initial deposit and the date of the closing when in fact she died 6 weeks before I made my first deposit. I am now suing Keller Williams for the amount I spent for home inspection and appraisal and damages. The original listing agent, Kathy Snyder has left Keller Williams and is now at RE/Max. The new agent is Carol Griffin. Nora showed me a house, she arranged the; appraisal, home inspection, financing. She handled it all ( including me). APPRAISAL ?. Just after I bought the house I realized I had overpaid. A year later I asked her to sell the house. When I asked Nora Roberts ? what if it doesn't appraise for enough? she said ? don't worry I will get the appraiser to bump the value ? just like I did for you?.. I asked what she meant she said ? well the house only appraised for $525000 So I got an appraiser I knew better to get me $575000. That appraiser was Daniel Ruth of RM Appraisal Services. She continued to say ? If I had more time I'd get $600000. So what she was telling me to my face was she ripped me off.. I did my own appraisal and was told that at the time I bought the house it was worth $525000 ( the same amount as the first appraisal) HOME INSPECTION ? Nora Roberts also helped me get a home inspection. The home inspector missed all the important issues that a real home inspector found when I tried to sell the house. FINANCING ? Nora sent me to Rick Picone for the mortgage. I didn't check around because Nora was my friend (or so I thought) so when she sent me to Rick I went. He initially told me that my rate was 5.75. A few days before the closing he called me and said there was a problem, he said my rate was not approved and I would have to pay 6.25% There was not much I could do at that point. A year later my son was looking for a job, I called Rick Picone. My son and I went to speak with him regarding his teaching my son mortgage brokering. During that interview Rick told me how he made ?real money? in mortgage brokering. He said that you get someone approved on a rate and at the last minute you call them with an imaginary problem and get them to agree to a higher rate and that difference is all your extra profit. I broke into a cold sweat and could hardly wait to get home to check my paperwork to see if he had done that to me. When I got home I realized that was, in fact, exactly what he had done to me. He had written my loan at 6.25, the buy rate was 5.75 the exact rate he had told me that I had been initially approved for and he had made a $7000 extra commission for bumping me from what I was approved at to what he said my new rate had to be. I called him regarding this. He defended what he did and said that everybody does it; that is how you make money. LESSON LEARNED ? Don't trust Real Estate Agents ? we were told an 18 wheeler would move us. The day of the move, a box truck showed up instead. We were told that after they loaded our belongings up, they would then be taken to a transfer station, unloaded and reloaded onto an 18 wheeler. I would not have gone with this company, had I known...

"It went great! We found Fisher Precious Metals on Angie's List, and after googling them, we found they had very positive reviews across the web. Although it was a 45 minute drive from our home, we felt it might be worth it, and it was. We made an appointment with John via email, arrived at 11:00, and spent just over an hour in his office. He evaluated the sterling silver set we had to sell and gave us what we felt was a very fair price. He'd given us an estimate on the value of the gold coins via email, and although the price of gold had fluctuated since he'd provided the quote, the final price was very, very close to the initial quote. We were happy to learn that they will also buy jewelry, as I have a few pieces I haven't worn in a very long time. We were very pleased with the entire experience and will definitely return to their company when we have gold or silver to sell, and we're happy to recommend them to our friends. One thing to keep in mind is that sterling silver sets are basically worth the price of the silver itself. We knew that going in, so we were not disappointed and, in fact, the price we received was a little higher than we'd expected."

Trefler's has been owned and operated by the Trefler family since 1921. It all began in Germany, when Abraham Trefler began a small business for himself building and restoring furniture. Abraham’s son, Eric, was one of the few survivors of the camps in Poland and Germany during WWII. Upon his liberation, he left Europe for New York, and finally settled in Boston, MA. After spending some time working as a furniture restorer for the antique dealers on Beacon Street, he opened his own business. Using the expertise he learned from his father back in Germany, he quickly became renowned for his uncanny ability to restore almost any kind of art object. Today, Trefler’s is still owned and operated by the Trefler family. We expertly mix century-old techniques with modern restoration technology to create some of the best repairs in the world. No project is too big or too small for us to work our magic. Come take a tour of the studio and see what we can do to preserve your family’s heritage.
