"They did a great job repairing my mom's roof from a tree falling on it. They also resealed her cracked asphalt driveway the same day and they did a great job on that too! Their prices were reasonable. I would recommend them to a friend."

"Excellent team and communication for our roof project. We needed someone to repair our roof that has shingles thats been needing repair and they were able to deliver and spring into action within a day ! It was perfect as the rains were coming and the damage to our roof would have gotten worse. From the time I first communicated they were able to arrive and give us an estimate and work with our insurance company (which was not easy) in the same day. Highly recommend this company ! Thank you"

Customers say: Terrific value

"A portion of the ridge vent on my roof lifted up during a heavy wind storm Monday. Dwayne responded at 9am Tuesday and was here by noon and tacked the vent down to close up the roof. He was scheduled to replace the vent on Thursday but came today(Wed) and is up on the roof now because there is snow coming in later today and he wanted to make sure the repair was completed before then. I couldn't have asked for better service. Thank you Dwayne! Marcia Burley"

Roofing questions, answered by experts

The cost to install a drip edge on an existing roof runs about $1 to $3 per linear foot, which comes out to between $150 and $1,000, with an average cost of $575. These are just averages; the total project price can vary depending on the type of drip edge chosen and whether you hire a professional for the installation. Factors like roof size, complexity, and labor rates also play a role in determining the final cost.

Tile and shingle roofs both have their pros and cons. In general, tile roofs are a larger upfront investment. In some cases, they can cost twice as much as shingles, but they last much longer and generally hold their value better than shingle roofs. Shingle roofs, on the other hand, are budget-friendly and quicker to install.

You can technically install a metal roof over asphalt shingles, but it isn’t a good idea. This is because you’re essentially creating a moisture barrier under the metal, which can easily—and often does—lead to significant mold damage. Removing an asphalt roof isn’t terribly expensive, and some roofing companies might cut you a serious labor and disposal discount if you add it to a new install.

It’s the reverse of home de-winterization. To winterize, you purge your plumbing system (including your water heater and all piping) of water. Some experts also recommend filling fixtures with an antifreeze solution. Other tasks involve winterizing sprinklers, sealing foundation vents, check weatherproofing around doors and windows, and more.

Roofing replacements and repairs expose the interior of your home to the elements. Failing to protect these areas during inclement weather can cause extensive damage and job delays. Have a conversation with your pro to learn their plans to use tarps, plastic sheeting, or other waterproofing methods to keep your home safe. Also, ask whether your pro will inspect your home during rain or snow to ensure the covering works.
