"Costa Cleaning was great! I received a text in the morning with an updated arrival time. The team of three women arrived on time and spent almost four hours cleaning my whole house from top to bottom. They brought their own supplies and were very accommodating to my needs (I had a dog and a toddler's nap schedule they needed to work around). They cleaned everything from the window blinds to the baseboards, moving furniture to vacuum behind. They even vacuumed the couch! My house has literally never been so clean. I'm so happy I decided to splurge and hire Costa Cleaners!"

"I hired TopLine to clean the house of my aging parents asI live too far away to help them regularly. They are very impressed with the quality of the work. Jacqueline is reliable, friendly, and a solid communicator in addition to being a very hard worker - my parents love her. I absolutely recommend her to anyone who’s looking for cleaning services."

"They first came out in the spring to do a deep Spring Cleaning.  They washed the walls, windows and carpets.  They did a very thorough housecleaning.  I had major back surgery and they have spoiled me.  They come every other week to do housecleaning and general maintenance.  They clean the kitchen, bathrooms, and other regular housecleaning.  They are very reliable, reasonably priced and do a super job."

"I was using this company for regular rug cleaning every 4-8 weeks for whole house rug cleanings for about a year. I was happy with the services, until they went cold. Without notice, I assumed they went out of business. I am using a new company for rug cleaning services now."

Couch Cleaning Services questions, answered by experts

In-home air purifiers really do work. However, their value depends on what you're trying to achieve. Mechanical air filters other than those with true HEPA filtration aren't capable of removing bacteria and viruses from the air. However, many of them can reduce very fine particles, including pollen, a known allergen. On the other hand, UV light filters can remove harmful pathogens but can't remove particles.

Yes, professionals can replace worn-out motors to restore efficient airflow.

If you don't regularly change your HVAC air filter, it will become clogged with dust, dirt, and other contaminants. This blockage forces the system to work harder to circulate air, leading to several negative consequences. You may experience higher energy bills, poor temperature regulation, reduced air quality, and slower system performance. Over time, this added strain can cause parts to break more frequently, lead to system failure, and ultimately shorten the lifespan of your entire HVAC unit. In some cases, it can also contribute to health problems. It's recommended to change the filter at least every three months.

The lifespan of a whole-house air purifier or filtration system depends on several factors, but with proper maintenance, they are built to last. A whole-house system that integrates with your home's ductwork can last 10 to 15 years, or even for the entire lifetime of your existing HVAC system. To maximize the unit's lifespan, perform regular cleanings, change filters as recommended, and schedule an annual inspection to catch potential issues early. The system's longevity also depends on its frequency of use and how hard it must work to maintain your desired air quality. For comparison, smaller, portable air filter systems typically last between five and ten years.

For washable or electrostatic air conditioner filters, you can soak and rinse them with water. If you rinse the filter with water, make sure to use a faucet, shower head, or garden hose with a gentle water pressure setting, as strong water pressure could damage the filter.

But for disposable filters, water could ruin the filter, even allowing mold to grow in the filter. Instead, these filters should be replaced.
