They applied extra cleaning liquids and scrubbing to assist in lifting out the stains. They were successful given the age of the carpet. All other carpet cleaners wouldn't/didn't go through the extra trouble of applying additional cleaning of high traffic areas. This is just my experiences with previous carpet cleaners.
