"Ive moved over 10 times being in the Military who usually pays for my move. This Move i was paying for after speaking to 5 different companies, Top Tier Van Lines was the most Honestout of them All! As they were the only ones to let me know the extra charges for wrapping my TVs, Mirrors , China Hutch, which none of the other moving company mentioned! The guys who picked me up were VERY professional all in Uniform and all employed by Top Tier Van Lines! The Foreman Alfonzo was Great as well as my Moving coordinator Brian was there for me from start to finish! Im Very Pleased with the overall move. I had a few scratches here and there but probably overall the best moves ive had thank you again"

"Everything went well. They were able to show up on a short notice. I had a week to move and they were there within two days. What stood out was the quality of their work and how they took their time not to break anything because I have a lot of heavy old stuff. It can be definitely pain in the neck and tricky to move some of that stuff so they were really careful so I like it like that. The pricing was really good."

Moving questions, answered by experts

Pool tables are exceptionally heavy, some weighing as much as 2,500 pounds. As a result, they require multiple movers to move, and because of their size, it's difficult to get them upstairs or around tight corners. You can save money on pool table moving by using your own packing supplies and disassembling them before movers arrive.

In most cases, you should get a full month’s notice for a move date. If you’re renting, your landlord or property management company is required to give the same amount of notice as your pay period length. So, if you pay rent each month, they will need to give you a month’s notice unless your leasing agreement says otherwise.

How long it takes movers to move cross-country depends on location, travel route, weather, and the moving company's schedule. Typically, a cross-country move can take 7 to 14 days. Always check with your mover for the most accurate estimate tailored to your situation.

You can’t start preparing for movers too soon. Some steps, like scheduling the movers and arranging for pet care, need to happen months ahead to fit into busy schedules, especially if you’re moving during on-season.

Several weeks ahead of the moving date, start packing lesser-used rooms and supplies. As the moving day gets closer, move your packing toward more and more essential rooms until only a few necessities are left on the day ahead of the move.

To transport a bed frame, disassemble it as much as needed and then wrap it with moving blankets or bubble wrap to prevent damage. If you’re transporting the frame in your vehicle, check to ensure it’ll fit before you start. If not, you might need to rent a moving truck or hire professional movers to transport your bed frame to its new home.
