At Carrizales Concrete Construction LLC we make sure that our work and our strength lies in working as a team to engage with our clients and deliver first class customer service and the highest standards of excellence. We do anything from patios, sidewalks, driveways, porches, finished floors and more. We do not do repair services at this time. "The cement patio replacement went absolutely amazing! Angel of Carrizales Concrete & Construction was contacted on Thursday that we were in need of our Concrete Patio replaced & Angel was at our house on Friday to give us a quote which was a fair quote that we accepted; & by Saturday the old cement was torn out & hauled away & by the end of the weekend it was formed & the Concrete was ready to be poured. The following Saturday Angel had his crew at our home bright and early to pour the Concrete & by the end of the weekend our patio was completed & ready for our party the following Saturday. Angel's crew was very neat & efficient; everything was cleaned up in a timely manner. The edging on the sides of the cement are very nice, cuts are straight & the smoothness of the patio is just perfect so as to not slip when it's wet. I highly recommend Angel & his crew in fact he'll be returning to repair our driveway in the near future."

Concrete Driveways questions, answered by experts

Yes, concrete can set in rain, but it’s best if you pour concrete 4 to 8 hours before any rain to ensure it won’t impact its strength and appearance. Exposure to heavy rain during the early stages (the first 48 hours after pouring) can significantly reduce the structural integrity of the concrete. Over time, cracking is more likely due to softer concrete.

Epoxy and polyurethane sealers can last five to 10 years, while acrylic sealers last two to three years or more depending on the use, wear of the surface, and type of sealer you choose. Areas that see heavy traffic or extreme ice and snow may require more frequent sealing. Test your concrete every two years to gauge how it responds to absorbing water or if it fully repels it for longer than 20 seconds.

Yes, concrete is significantly stronger than masonry, especially if the concrete pour includes reinforcements, like steel rebar. Concrete is a uniform material that can withstand compression, sheer force, and tensile force as long as it’s reinforced. Masonry involves the use of mortar or grout to connect individual building materials, like brick, stone, or tile. Mortar and grout are also reasonably strong and resist compression well, but they don’t come close to the strength of poured concrete.

Yes, you can remove oil stains from your driveway by applying an absorbent material such as baking soda, sawdust, or cat litter, pouring on a liquid detergent such as dish soap, scrubbing the area, and rinsing with water. You can also use a diluted bleach solution, white vinegar, or TSP solution on concrete.

Yes. Amongst the four most common types of septic tanks—plastic, fiberglass, concrete, and steel—those made of concrete are the most expensive. This is the case for a few reasons, including the fact that they’re very heavy, so pros have to use specialized equipment to install them. However, they’re also incredibly durable, making the price worth it if it’s in your budget.
