"Friendly? YES VERY
Over the top customer service? YES VERY
Excellent Product? YES VERY
Excellent Install Team? YES VERY

It was the best decision we made to purchase our windows and doors from Eco View.

We bought a home that was 10 years old and had no idea that the windows and doors were all rotted out from improper installation to begin with, so having to purchase windows at all was very frustrating for us.

We had 5 companies give us bids and regardless of price, my husband said we should go with EcoView. Why? because of the staff and sales approach alone. (Price was very competitive and product is top of the line)-There was no fluff to the sales pitch, it was honestly very much an enjoyable experience and very NON aggressive.  There was compassion about the situation we were in with the windows and doors we had and it showed. The "other guys"  sales approach was scripted and they didn't care about anything else but making a commission.

Installation was done quickly and immaculately by a team of installers that were awesome! they didn't cuss or smoke, One of them noticed my storm door hydraulic wasn't set right and asked if he could adjust it for me!  They cleaned their mess and were courteous to my grand kids and always stopped to pet the dogs. When we asked them if they liked working for Eco View, they all said it was their favorite window company to contract for, because of how they treat their customers.

Overall our experience was fantastic and we highly recommend Eco View"

Doors questions, answered by experts

The strike plate, hinges, and handle are the parts of a door most prone to damage. These parts see the most frequent use, causing them to wear and twear faster than other parts of a door. If you’re experiencing door issues, check these three parts first to see if they need repairing or replacing.

While a pocket door can be a smart decision to add privacy in a small space, it most likely won’t increase home value. Pocket doors can sometimes be difficult to maintain, and they can pose a challenge to those with mobility issues. But generally speaking, adding an interior door where privacy is needed will be a benefit to homebuyers.

Pocket doors fell out of popularity due to previous functionality issues and the raised tracks. But design and function have improved significantly in recent years, giving pocket doors a resurgence. They can be the perfect choice for a small space or to close off an adjoining room, such as a home office or dining room.

Standard door sizes aren’t one-size-fits-all, but there are common go-to dimensions. For exterior doors—like your front door—36 inches wide by 80 inches tall is typical, though you’ll see 30- or 32-inch widths too, especially in older homes. Interior doors vary more. Bedrooms and bathrooms often use 30- to 32-inch widths, and closet doors can be anything from slim singles to wide bi-folds. Height is usually 80 inches across the board; however, always measure your actual opening. “Standard” only works if it matches what’s already in place.

No, exterior doors don’t need to be prehung, although choosing a door that is prehung makes the installation process far easier. Installing an exterior door that isn’t prehung requires carefully maneuvering the heavy door into place in your door frame, making sure it’s level and plumb on all sides, and then attaching the hinges so that they’re perfectly level and are affixed to the right part of your frame and door. Prehung exterior doors are far more DIY-friendly.
