"Dan was great to work with and did an amazing job installing drain tile around my house with a new sump pump and pit. He even fix some additional leaks in pipes too. Price was great!! I would recommend him to my friends and family and will definitely give him the business for future services.😊"

"We had to convert a tub/shower in a 1979 mobile home into a walk in shower for my husband. I had gotten a couple of quotes for tile but upon seeing the Onyxstone product's clean lines we decided the extra cost would be worth it. We are very happy with the results. This is a USA made to order product that had about a 5 week wait but the owner called every week with an update and it came in on time. .My husband and I are extremely happy with our choice of Hill Country Tub and Tile. Luckily, there were no unexpected problems like mold or leaking water so Mike and his helper were able to do the demolition and install in just one day. They even had enough battery operated lights and tools with them so they continue to work during a 1 hour KPUB electric outage. When they left, the bathroom was spotless and we are looking forward to trying it out tomorrow."

"I received a response within 20 minutes of requesting a quote. A salesman, Blake, came out within a couple of days. He drove two and a half hours from the West Fargo location. He spent several hours showing their product, answering questions, and taking pictures and doing measurements. Very professional. I received frequent updates by phone, text, and email throughout the whole process. Any thoughts of being scammed were eliminated by the efficiency of the process. When the materials were received and checked out we were contacted for an install date. Our install was scheduled for the end of the same week. Ryan arrived early that morning and covered floors to start the removal of our old tub. He cleaned frequently and kept the bathroom door closed to minimize the dust. Ryan was a true professional. We were asked to inspect frequently. Our install was completed by late afternoon. Wow. We strongly recommend this company."

"Company seems ilike a Good business. Kept appointment and returned an estimate promptly which seemed reasonable, but out of my range. For people who can afford them I would recommend them. I got the problem solved by raising my concrete and adding dirt around the house."

"The owner is Jack Wagner and he does his own work. I highly recommend that gentleman. I will give him thumbs up. A few years ago, he did a complete remodel of my kitchen. It was an excellent job; it was under budget and on time. He was just hard-working and he completed the job wonderfully. The other thing that he did was to install a hood recently for my parent’s house. As long as you are flexible on time, because he is pretty busy, if it’s a small job he will be able to get it in after two weeks. I mean he got in, completed it in one afternoon and was done and out. He charged very reasonably. The hood was just $175, all the small jobs are under $200 and the major kitchen remodel was $16,000 on labor.  I will absolutely use him again."

Affordable Plumbers questions, answered by experts

The most likely reason is rust. You can try using lubricant to loosen the metal components, but you’ll most likely need to call in a plumber to professionally sand down the rust without damaging the rest of your bathtub. If the rust is extensive, it might be a sign that you need to replace the plumbing.

To keep your toilet from clogging, you can use less toilet paper. You can also use a liquid toilet plunger to break up any clogs and keep the toilet drain and pipes clear. When it comes to a clogged toilet, the best route is prevention by using less toilet paper and making sure the mechanisms are all working properly.

Yes, a toilet, sink, and shower can share the same vent. This is a common plumbing practice that can simplify installation and save space. When sharing a vent, it's important that the toilet is located downstream from all other fixtures. You will also need to ensure the vent pipe is large enough to handle the demands of all connected fixtures without compromising its effectiveness. Because requirements can vary, you should always check your local building and plumbing codes. Consulting a qualified plumber is recommended to ensure the vent is properly sized, installed, and adheres to all local regulations.

Depending on the location of the water leak, it could go undetected for weeks, months, or even years in some extreme cases. Most homeowners who have plumbing leaks have slow drips, so you might not see signs of damage until they become severe problems. It’s a good idea to have a plumbing inspection done annually and to take steps yourself to check for leaks, including inspecting your floor, walls, and ceilings for signs of water damage, monitoring your utility bills, and looking for water around appliances and fixtures.

If your drain doesn’t have metal crosshairs or crossbars, you should use a tub drain extractor. These tools create a grip on the drain so you can turn it using a 1/2-inch ratchet drive, drain key, or wrench. Your drain may not have crosshairs if it's old and broken.
