"My dealings with Chris were very professional and the Company's willingness to perform crawl space remediation on short notice was superb. The individuals performing the remediation work did a great job and were very hard workers putting in many hours to complete the job on a timely basis. They also did a great job at cleaning up behind themselves and leaving everything exactly as it was found. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing the services they provide."

"Professional and Knowledgeable. Brent took the time to understand our concerns and explain his testing. Most important, he identified the source of the mystery odor in our house and it was something that I could and did eliminate myself. Great company."

"I literally cannot say enough about Our experience with EnviroFry. Divine and William went above and beyond in doing our mold removal project, including adding on a significant additional project (our workshop in the basement which leaked for the first five years we lived in the house). They have excellent knowledge related to mold remediation, were dedicated and caring, and were willing to go more than the extra mile. Hire them and you won?t be sorry!"

"All of the employees at A&E Restoration are awesome! I started the washing machine before leaving for several hours to run errands. Apparently, one of the water hoses to the washing machine had gotten a crack in it. I came home to a flooded laundry room and a saturated wood floor. My insurance company was difficult to work with to say the least. JP from A&E restoration came to look at the damage and give me a quote. They were very knowledgeable and gave me peace of mind. They dealt with the insurance company so I didn’t have to. They worked hard to dry out the water damage and take out the damaged flooring. They kept their work area clean and communicated their progress. These are honest people and I was very comfortable having them in my home. Hopefully something like this will never happen again but if it does A&E Restoration will be my first call."

"Excellent; efficient, clean, professional. Andy and his team were pleasant and immediately responsive when we found two additional mold surprises within the home. I feel totally secure regarding keeping our home free from mold knowing that Andy will be available if needed down the road."

Mold Testing and Remediation questions, answered by experts

In most cases, it is safe to return home after mold remediation is complete. You should follow your mold remediation technician’s recommendations, but most pros request that homeowners wait one day after the process is complete to move back in.

After returning home, be sure to carefully inspect the exposed areas for any remaining signs of mold spores. Contact the mold remediation company if you detect any lingering mold.

Although you can run a DIY test for mold inside your home by buying a test kit, you won’t know whether the strain of mold is dangerous. The best way to test for mold in a home is to hire a professional who can determine the specific type of mold that you have. If you’re worried you exposed yourself to mold and it’s making you ill, you could request a health test. Your personal doctor could test your urine, take a nasal swab, or test some body tissue to determine your potential exposure to mold.

Yes. Black stains are more than an eyesore. Some black stains can pose health concerns, especially for those with asthma, allergies, or other respiratory conditions. Some stains can also damage the brick’s structural integrity, harming the mortar and resulting in more expensive repairs.

Underfloor insulation alone will not cause moisture and mold, but improper installation can. Although the purpose is to seal any drafts, your subfloor still needs ventilation. If you seal the area too tightly and prevent all airflow, this can cause moisture to get trapped. This moisture eventually leads to mold and—if your floors are wood—rotting.

EIFS has several disadvantages, primarily related to cost and moisture. The system tends to have higher upfront installation costs compared to other siding options, and repairs can also be expensive, especially if water damage occurs. A significant downside is its low breathability, which can trap moisture between its layers from either leakage or condensation. This trapped moisture increases the risk of developing mold and rot, which can lead to costly and extensive repairs if not addressed promptly.
