"Mr. Cortez was professional, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough. He explained the issues, found the source of the problem, and fixed the source. Mr. Cortez is a hard worker and I am super grateful that I hired him. He was on time and willing to explain when I did not understand. The best part of my experience was TC walked me through the issues and pointed out the source so that I was fully aware of what he was doing. If you have mold issues, need excavation, waterproofing, installation of a French drain system, hire TC!"

"I donâ t often give reviews but Jimmy earned it. We hired him to investigate potential moisture/mold in our home after a couple of long withstanding leaks from previous tenants. He showed up early and was friendly and easy to talk to. He displayed great knowledge about home construction, mold causes and treatments, and talked me through the entire process he uses for inspections. He utilized an array of equipment and was incredibly thorough in his assessment. The entire time he was here, he answered every question my wife and I had and was absolute pleasure to work with. Not to sound negative, but it is truly hard to find someone who knows what theyâ re doing and Jimmy is one of those rare people you can count on. I really canâ t recommend him enough. If you want a thorough and honest inspection performed, you can stop looking because you found your guy."

"House was for sale, inspector found mold...   lots of it... in the attic.
Contacted Pro-Clean, they came right out,  inspected everything and outlined the "plan of attack".
They took are of everything... I didn't even need to be there.   Everything looks great, and no messes to clean up after!
Price was more than I wanted to spend,  but fair considering the amount of remediation that needed to be done.

Mold Testing and Remediation questions, answered by experts

No, rubber mulch isn’t toxic and is considered safe to use around pets. However, pets, especially dogs, may try to chew on or eat rubber mulch, which can cause choking. Consider monitoring your pets and their behavior when around this mulch type to see how they respond to it.

Yes, it is generally unhealthy and can be dangerous to live in a damp basement. The damp air can negatively affect your breathing and lungs, and the moisture promotes mold growth and pest infestations. Inhaling mold spores or waste particles from insects and rodents attracted to the moisture can be hazardous. This damp, moldy air can also circulate into your main living area. It is crucial to resolve any moisture problems and implement preventative measures before using your basement as a living space.

Yes. Over time, hidden moisture from a leak in your bathroom may lead to black mold, requiring a mold remediation company’s services and the removal of large wall sections, which can be costly. For example, 100 square feet of drywall can cost as much as $400 to replace, while mold remediation can run anywhere from $500 to $3,000.

Not necessarily. If the mold is only on the surface or in small areas, you may be able to clean it effectively without removing all the caulk. However, if the mold has deeply penetrated the caulk or the caulk is damaged or deteriorating, you should remove the caulk completely and replace it to ensure thorough mold removal and prevent future growth.

You’ve stored your coats away all summer long, but now that the temperatures drop, you notice they smell weird as you pull them from storage. What’s the deal? If your clothes smell weird after you stored them, they may have been in a moist, dark environment for several weeks or months. This environment is ideal for mildew growth, which can make clothes smell musty.
