"They did a very good job on our kitchen tiles that needed regrouting. We had tried to do it ourselves last year and it just looked terrible. Colon made it look like new again at an affordable price. Thank you Colon for making this such an easy process. The grout matches the tile perfectly!"

"Emmanuel is a 'top-notch' professional. He kept his appointments by showing up on time when he did the estimate and when we hired this company to complete the job. Emmanuel replaced 4 tiles in our kitchen as there was very bad damage. The job he did was absolutely wonderful! My husband and I agree that we would hire him again!!"

"They arrived on time, worked quickly. I have white barber carpet. They stairs didn't turn out as well as I would have liked and the stains in the foyer bled back through. I had forgotten to tell them I wanted scotch guard they had already loaded their equipment, but was nice enough to come back and do it for me.  I would probably consider using them again because they were nice and came back for my mistake instructions.

"Billy Hall (their plumber) did our initial estimate. He was patient, told us all of our options and was not pushy at all. He even told us about a $200 coupon that was in the Clipper magazine and honored it eventhough we didn't have one. As we narrowed down our color choices, we were able to get a large sample piece from the store to have in our home to see what it really looked like. They kept their appointment dates and as stated before, were clean, neat and very nice. They do not subcontract. I am thrilled with the outcome and believe as a company and product, they are outstanding. ** My only negative comment: I recently (5/10) had them come out to get an estimate on covering my masterbath tile. I got a salesman named "Steve". He was pushy, high-strung and seemed to get mad that I wanted to know about any coupons. If I had not had such a great 1st experience with them, this guy would have totally turned me off.I have since mentioned this to the owners. I just wanted to let people know that if they tell you they are sending "Steve" to do the estimate (unless he has become calm and not pushy)- he is not a good representation of the company. They are totally worth the price and the rest of their staff is outstanding!"

Grout Tile Cleaners questions, answered by experts

Penny tile should be sealed to protect the grout from moisture and keep stains from damaging the look of the tile. If penny tile is in a humid or high-traffic area, like a bathroom, kitchen, or entryway, it needs sealant. Any type of tile and grout is best maintained with a sealant reapplied by a pro every one to two years.

Dust mops are the best option for tackling dirt and dust on marble floors. Vacuums aren’t a good idea as the brushes and beater rolls can scratch and damage your marble floors. If you must use a vacuum, make sure your vacuum has a setting for hard floors, and take care not to apply too much pressure when rolling the vacuum across your marble floor.

Yes, if you’re strapped for supplies, boiling hot water can be a great alternative for getting rid of soap scum. However, as this method calls for a bit of soaking, it’s best used when cleaning your bathroom sink or bath basin (or on small objects you can submerge). All you have to do is plug your sink or bathtub drain and pour in enough boiling water to cover the soap scum. Allow it to soak for five minutes, drain, and follow up with an additional hot water rinse to remove any lingering residue.

To clean stone tiles, first sweep or vacuum to remove dirt particles. Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent and warm water to mop. Be careful not to use acidic cleaning solutions, such as vinegar and lemon juice, which can damage the surface.

There are different reasons for wanting to wash your floor by hand or using a mop. For deep and thorough cleaning, hand washing allows you to scrub hard-to-reach spots, ensuring the entire floor is pristine. You may want to use this method every other month. Mopping is ideal for weekly maintenance and vast spaces where hand washing is too time-consuming and labor-intensive. Remember, cleaning your floors regularly is better than skipping the task altogether, so use the best method that works for you.
