"Great honest contractors. They did my bathrooms, hot water heater, unclogged my house drain and they did a French drain so my basement is not wet anymore. I already hired them to do my whole roof in the spring. I will hire them anytime."

"We really enjoyed working with Signature Decks and Patios. Our friends use this company so we decided to use them as well after interviewing many others as well. So I would highly recommend Signature Decks And Patios for there service, quality and pricing was very good too.

"Consolidated Roofing Systems is simply the best. From Fred and Billy and the entire crew, customer service really impressed me. I haven't seen that kind of customer service for a very long time. The workmanship is superb from start to finish. The product is definitely top of the line. I'm so glad I found this company and would certainly recommend them to anyone. Thanks for a great job!!"

"Fantastic experience from beginning to end. I'm very happy I went with Joe's company. They are absolute professionals and I could see everyday watching their progress, that they are concerned with quality. Joe had great communication with me throughout the whole process, and they were able to finish on time despite all the rain we were getting. I will definitely hire him again in the future for any masonry."

"Robert and his crew were phenomenal. They were clean and organized and followed the timelines they proposed perfectly. I have used many contractors for various tasks over the years and Robert and his crew were truly the most efficient and well-organized folks I have ever worked with. They are incredibly hardworking, honest, and creative. Robert helped us with the design of our stonework and even helped to solve some drainage issues we were facing. Could not recommend them enough!!! (It probably sounds like I have some kind of outside affiliation with this company, but I assure you that I do not, they were honestly just that impressive.)"

Patios questions, answered by experts

Yes, adding a sunroom can increase your home's value, with a return on investment (ROI) ranging from 20% for a screen room to 50% for a three- or four-season room. The amount of value added depends on the design. Fully insulated, temperature-controlled four-season sunrooms add the most value as they can be included in the home's total living space. In contrast, simpler structures like Arizona rooms or solariums typically have a lower return as they don't count as legal living space. A high-quality sunroom can also be an attractive feature for potential buyers, especially those who enjoy gardening. The value may also be higher in warmer climates where this feature is more sought after. When deciding, consider both the potential resale value and the personal value you will get from using the room.

In most cases, you can attach a greenhouse to any type of house. However, certain factors need to be considered, such as the structural integrity of the house, available space, and local building regulations. You should consult with a professional contractor or architect to assess the feasibility and ensure proper construction methods.

A deck is typically attached to a house and accessed via the back door. Decks are usually constructed from wood or composite materials. A terrace, on the other hand, is a raised platform that can be attached to or detached from the house and is typically made from a hard-paved material, such as paving stones. Terraces can be built on the ground or on the roof of a home.

How many square feet a sheet of plywood can cover depends on the size of the plywood sheet. A 4x8 sheet of plywood covers 32 square feet, while a 5x5 sheet of plywood covers 25 square feet. The cost to board up a window with plywood or install plywood under a new roof will depend on the total size of the area.

A screened-in porch can add value to your home, but it won’t count toward the total square footage at an appraisal or when it comes time to sell. A screened-in porch is not fully enclosed, usable year-round, insulated, or heated or cooled, so it doesn’t meet the requirements of livable square footage in most locations.
