Wildlfe removal & exclusion company serving mountain regions of NC & GA. Bat exclusion, snake removal, squirrel trapping, bird control. Trapping programs, metal work, raccoon, opossum, beaver, groundhog, bat, Woodpecker, flying squirrels, sparrows, snakes & more. Since 2007. We also will work with your insurance company.

"Wow! Bigfoot did an excellent job of getting rid of the many squirrels in our attic. They set up a treatment plan with us (and our tenant) and they followed it precisely. Their prices are reasonable and they themselves are very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again. Cory (our technician) was just great."

Invisible Fence® Brand keeps over 1,000,000 pets Safe at Home providing pet owners with total peace of mind through trusted, superior technology and proven training procedures. 99.5% success rate. Industry's best guarantee.

"Two techs from Invisible Fence came out and were friendly, efficient and professional. The job was done well and in less time than forecast. I had called 811 on Monday to mark all the underground cables (the installation was on Friday), but only the water people showed up. No one else showed up by Friday. Apparently more lead time was needed. The Invisible Fence guys said that it was not a problem since their wire was not buried deeply, and thus not should not interfere with existing buried lines. My dog was familiar with an electric collar system, so the training requirements for him were less than if he did not have such prior experience. All in all, it was a good installation. We will see how the future support goes, but it has started well."

Animal Fencing questions, answered by experts

Green branches are more flexible and easier to work with, but they'll shrink as they dry, which can loosen your fence weave over time—so you'll need to weave them extra tight to account for shrinkage. Some species, particularly willow, may also try to sprout when used green. For these reasons, it’s typically easiest to use branches that have dried for a week or two.

In most cases, wrought iron fencing will cause your property value to increase. Most types of fence—but especially high-quality wrought iron fences—make your home more secure and deter burglars, which adds to property value. Fences can also help keep children and pets safe, which most homebuyers will appreciate. Wrought iron fences are also highly decorative, and while they don’t provide much privacy, they do add to your home’s curb appeal, which often leads to higher home value.

While they can be closer, the maximum distance between fence posts for residential fences is 8 feet. This ensures the panels are adequately supported by the fence posts. This is usually dictated by the width of the panel, which is typically between 5 and 8 feet. While narrower panels will require more posts, they’ll be lighter and easier to work with than wider panels that are the same height.

Yes, you can expect your composite fencing to fade quickly during the first six months. This happens naturally because the wood oils in the fencing material, called tannins, bleed out. Because of this, it can help to get a color chart from your fence company, which should show you the color of your fence before and after it fades.

Yes, fence posts need to be installed below the frost line to ensure stability and prevent heaving caused by freezing and thawing cycles. The frost line is the depth at which soil freezes during winter. By placing posts below this line, often around 3 to 4 feet deep or as recommended for your specific region, you reduce the risk of the ground shifting, which can lead to leaning or unstable fences. Adequate depth provides better anchoring and helps maintain the fence's integrity, ensuring it remains secure and upright throughout changing seasons.
