Invisible Fence of the Mountain Region

Two techs from Invisible Fence came out and were friendly, efficient and professional. The job was done well and in less time than forecast. I had called 811 on Monday to mark all the underground cables (the installation was on Friday), but only the water people showed up. No one else showed up by Friday. Apparently more lead time was needed. The Invisible Fence guys said that it was not a problem since their wire was not buried deeply, and thus not should not interfere with existing buried lines. My dog was familiar with an electric collar system, so the training requirements for him were less than if he did not have such prior experience. All in all, it was a good installation. We will see how the future support goes, but it has started well.

The installer was on time and did a great job. He even gave us some extra wire due to our terrain. He explained everything and the company called us back a week later to be sure all was well. I highly recommend them.

I called for warranty replacement on dog collar which had failed and allowed my dog to get out twice. I told them I would pay for service call if it was not an equipment issue - i.e. misuse, bad battery, broken wire, etc. They showed up and dithered around for nearly an hour and admitted that the collar was bad through no fault of mine. Service guy demanded payment. I refused. And, course, he cursed at me as he backed over my garden. Assume their warranty is worthless if you intend to buy from them.

We had invisible fencing installed February 2015.  Provider came out promptly to give a quote and performed installation shortly thereafter.  Training went smoothly and the fence worked well until about 2 weeks ago.  Scheduled service and technician came out next day and diagnosed the unit with a bad circuit board due to surge damage.  He explained that the unit had a lifetime warranty and that there was no charge to replace the $500 unit.  I was however, charged $89.95 for a service call that lasted 30 minutes.  

Updated 2/4/16 - After further discussions, provider agreed to refund the service charge since issue was within the first year.  Thank you so much!

Excellent service. When our dog seemed to confined in one area, they came back and widened the area and did not charge us.

Salesman came out to the house to explain the process and give me all the options for installation and products. He walked the extensive property with me to talk about where we should install the boundary. As agreed upon, the installation guys came out the day before Thanksgiving in the snow and freezing temperatures and did a great job running hundreds of feet of wire and mounting the hardware.
Within 1.5 weeks I had an alarm signal on the panel and assumed there had been an installation error. I was wrong. The technician came out to the house 1 day after I called to discuss the problem and took the time to walk the entire boundary with me searching for the break. It turned out that an animal had chewed the wire The technician, Tyrone Haas, repaired the break, was extremely pleasant and prompt, and did it all at no charge.
I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone concerned with keeping the family pet out of the roads and confined to your own property so worries about getting lost, chasing livestock, getting shot, etc., are eliminated.

I had broken my ankle fibula and tibia  trying to get one of our fur babies back that had gotten out and gone up the mountain.  We can not have fences in our development.  We called Invisible Fence of the Mountain Region.  They came and went over program options and costs.  I could not do the training nor could my husband due to neuropathy in feet.  We live in mountain elevation and are in our 70's/80's.  Invisible Fence came out and trained both female and male Keeshonds.  Female had been abused and is afraid of men.  Invisible Fence male trainer was so gentle and kind with her while training.  She adjusted to him after the first day.  The male is a show dog and has a tremendous undercoat and lots of fur around the neck area.  Friends had told us we would have to shave some fur for the collar to work.  That was not an option.  Invisible Fence had to use several collars with different prongs to find the perfect one.  They started with the least powerful one.  They also trained by shaking the flags and giving No command.  Our male is so smart I think he actually understood the flags before he understood the collar.  They came every day and trained until satisfied our two Kees would not cross the line. It is wonderful being able to put their collars on and let them out even before dawn or when it is raining or snowing.  When we say "collars" they line up for them to be put on.  We wish we had Invisible Fence long before we did.  Fantastic Company, Fantastic Trainers, Fantastic Product.  We recommend Invisible Fence of the Mountain Region whenever we have the opportunity.
