"These men are very punctual, hard working, polite, and friendly. We had several trees down near a creek. They came, got right to work and cleaned up a lot of debris. They work as a team to get the tree work finished. I will definitely hire them again. I highly recommend this tree company for your tree needs."

"They were an excellent team. We were very satisfied with their work, They replaced shingles, gutters, soffit and stove pipe. They also repaired our concrete block retainer wall. Then moved a huge oak tree and the humongous tree root. Great work, very dependable and very affordable. We were very blessed to find JG Renovations! We highly recommend them for all your projects!"

"It's not often that someone truly impresses me, but this young man did exactly that. From the very beginning, his professionalism, communication, and business sense stood out. He carries himself with a level of maturity well beyond his years. His crew did an outstanding job trimming my trees and left my property spotless when they were finished. The cleanup was just as impressive as the work itself, and he kept me informed throughout the entire process. I've been in sales for over 10 years and have worked alongside many seasoned professionals, yet I've met very few who demonstrate the level of professionalism, follow-through, and customer service that he does. He has an incredibly bright future ahead of him. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality work, excellent communication, and someone who truly takes pride in what they do."

"Youve heard of a jack of all trades, but you cant be sure youve met one until you hire this man. He doesnt just do a job, he makes art. He took the time to communicate about EVERYTHING we wanted and delivered with nothing less than what we asked for. He even went above and beyond hand cutting and measuring the wood to deliver a truly clean flush look to our yard. Our family is so beyond happy with the way our fence looks as well as the security it provides for our newborn and our dogs. He was one man, but he got it done in less than a week and he was the person directly discussing what he would be doing as he was doing it. We fully intend to hire him next year for our next big project, and you should definitly consider him for yours."

"They did a great job! My roof looks great! Reliable and kept me well informed about everything. They kept cost in mind and cleaned up nicely after themselves. Serge even came out late to tarp the roof until it could get repaired so that I didnâ t have any further damage to the house waiting for the roof. They were very nice to work with. Great people. I canâ t say enough good things about them!"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Tree roots don’t necessarily break through concrete on their own, but they can certainly take advantage of existing cracks, even very small ones. As roots grow, they expand the cracks, making them larger and leading to serious and costly foundation damage. It’s a good idea to have repairs on any foundation cracks you’re concerned about.

In most cases, leaving tree roots underground is not a problem if the stump has been removed or ground below the soil. However, some larger roots may decompose, leaving dents in your soil. Additionally, some aggressive trees, including willows, oaks, elms, maples, and poplars may grow back from roots. Large aggressive trees with established root systems are more likely to grow back.

Yes, tree roots can regenerate after they’re pruned or cut. In fact, trimming can stimulate new growth, especially in healthy trees. The tree’s roots can still grow back even after a tree is cut down, (and learning how to get rid of regrowing tree roots is a separate feat). Still, if you don’t wish to harm a tree, pruning the roots should be done with extreme care, and ideally by a professional.

Stump grinding consists of removing the visible part of the stump, but the roots remain intact. Depending on the tree and root system, the roots may still grow after stump grinding. If you are concerned about root growth and damage, you may want to consider having a stump removed completely.

If you don’t cut down a dead, dying, or diseased tree, it can become a nesting place for pests like mosquitos, bees, beetles, wasps, fly larvae, and more. Some pests will live in the tree, while others will feed off the decaying wood. Unhealthy trees are also more likely to fall over, potentially injuring people and causing damage to your property.
