"Abel came to quote the job. He was the first guy I saw for my two porches. He quoted me a price after measuring and figuring. I was initially stunned, but he explained the reasons (the price of materials and gas and labor has hit the handyman business like everything else). Abel is a personable fellow. I didn't need to see anyone else. Our porches were in sore need of repair. It was getting to a place that we were worried that someone might go through the decking and be injured. I didn't need fancy. I needed SOLID. Abel came back with Tom and they did a great job on my front porch. Neighbors are jealous. The postman made positive comments. It looks great and I could park my car on it. It's EXACTLY what we needed. Abel explained as they went what they were doing and why they were doing it that way.
