I recommended him & his crew to my brotherâ s home in Fayetteville & my sisterâ s home in Raleigh who were also very pleased with his work. Does great work. Painted my stained cabinets white. Also, exterior work with siding & wood & painting. Thank you Diego & Home Advisor."

"My husband and I had been looking for someone to complete a few maintenance repairs around our home (replacing shutters, fix trim along the rooftop, fix siding on the house, replace framework and seals around the garage door and install a ceiling fan). Jeremy Williams did a wonderful job completing all the repairs we needed done. He was very professional and friendly from the initial meeting to the completion of the home repairs. Thank you for all you did for us and we will definitely contact you for our future home repairs."

"I wish there were more than 5 stars! I couldn't be happier with Mario and his partner's work. They were on courteous, on time, brought high quality paint, which they included in their low price, and painted beyond my expectations. They smoothed out the walls before painting, and also painted trim and baseboards. Their work is shear professionalism and done to perfection! They clearly take pride in what they do! They wear booties, protect your furniture and carpets, and have hands like surgeons. I would go on and on - but will stop here and say that if you land on Mario Osario, you should look no further! Do yourself a favor and hire him! He is AMAZING! I am thrilled with my choice of Osario's painting and will recommend them every time someone asks about a high quality painter!"

"There was a misunderstanding on the days to begin the job because Lonnie arrived a day early. Lonnie arrived the next day on time with all the equipment for painting except the paint. He is professional and friendly. I purchased the red paint for my doors. I am happy with the result. I would recommend J Edwards Construction to anyone needing a professional painter."

I'm very experienced in remodeling homes. I came up in the business as a young boy following behind a general contractor and architect my father. I'm a native of North Carolina so I know the rules and the ends and out of this business. I'm very reliable I communicate very well with my customer. There's not a job too big or small so give us a call.

"We could not be more pleased with the job that this company completed. Our 47 year old 2 story white aluminum siding home was in desperate need of a new coat of paint. The crew did a super job of making sure all windows, etc were safely covered and protected from paint spray prior to spray painting the house and we appreciated the recommendations they gave us that we had not thought of. They were efficient, respectful and a pleasure to work with. We would not hesitate to hire this company again."

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

There are deck restoration products and oil-based wood stains that can help bring back some of the color and shine to your faded Trex decking. However, if your boards are suffering from serious fading due to UV rays or chemical cleaning products, don’t expect miracles. Also, these products are only suitable for use on the older Trex boards, not the capped, second-generation Trex products.

The best temperature to paint a pool deck is between 50 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit, because many paints and sealers require temperatures warm enough for the chemical reaction to take place for proper curing. The paint should not be allowed to freeze, and temperatures above 90 degrees can cause the paint to dry too quickly, also preventing the chemical reaction from following through to completion.

When staining a deck, don’t skip surface prep, avoid staining damp or dirty boards, and don’t apply stain in extreme heat, cold, or wet conditions. Never overload the wood with a stain, as too much can cause tackiness or peeling. Also, don’t forget to test a small area first to ensure the color and finish look right.

Always wait until the morning dew has dried before you stain your deck. The stain needs a fully dry surface to sink into.

Ultimately, overapplication of stain can compromise the deck's appearance, durability, and longevity. It may result in an uneven finish, with excess stain pooling, dripping, or drying into thick patches. It can also obscure the wood's natural grain and texture, detracting from the desired aesthetic. Moreover, excessive staining may not fully penetrate the wood, leading to poor adhesion and premature wear. Additionally, thick layers of stain are prone to peeling, cracking, and blistering as they struggle to bond with the surface.
