During that year, we had multiple conversations with him regarding the scope of our project, and he was as willing to contract the scope as to expand it. He wrote several proposals for us, so we could see the financial impacts of our different scope options. Our indecision on scope, and delay in scheduling, never caused any frustration or ill will on his part. Mr. Stroup was helpful, friendly, and patient throughout! His team installed everything in one day, and all who worked on our project were extremely courteous and professional. We have been very impressed with the quality of the work. "Initial caulking work was performed well. After 2.5 years, some of the caulking failed. When I requested Aaron to evaluate the problem, I was told there would be a $150 consultation fee for the review. His contention is that caulking that fails after 2.5 is within normal tolerances. I do not agree, but was willing to have him review and explain, without a fee. He would not provide the review. "

We gave Sarah, from GO Architectural Design complete architectural freedom to help design our forever home based on our design criteria which was specified on her designated form. We also sadly learned through this process, that her preferred communication is via email which is exceedingly problematic, and has been proven to be inefficient and extremely costly to us, as a consumer, when designing a custom home. After over SIX THOUSAND dollars ($6,000) of her "billed time” as well as over the course of more than 8 months, she failed to deliver ANYTHING close to what we wanted. We were completely astonished as she constantly blamed us, the consumer, for her failures - going so far to belittle my spouse on several occasions. Never before in my U.S. Army Corp of Engineers career, have I ever dealt with such an argumentative and dismissive business "professional." If you're looking for a simple remodel, then maybe this company might work for you, but if you're looking for a custom home design, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend finding someone else for your forever home."
