"Ducts were cleaned as we contracted for. When they finished the HVAC ducts they said they would do the dryer vent as a complimentary service. I told them I had recently cleaned it and they would probably not get much lint out of the vent. I was amazed at all they got out and it was at no additional charge."

"It was great, they were great. They came in, did their job, and didn't mess around. He was a little late because he has a job before me, but I'm okay with that because he had a busy day . When he got there, he came in, and introduce himself. Mr. Dickson and his helper were very professional, stayed right on the job, and cleaned up behind themselves."

Small jobs welcome

"The cleaning lady did an amazing and truly exceptional job cleaning my house. Every room was spotless, organized, and fresh, with great attention paid to even the smallest details. The floors, countertops, bathrooms, and furniture were cleaned to perfection, making the entire house look and feel brand new. Her professionalism, hard work, and dedication were evident in the quality of her work. I was extremely impressed with the results and greatly appreciated the care she took in making my home so clean and welcoming. I could not have asked for a better job, and I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for outstanding cleaning work."

Air Duct Cleaning questions, answered by experts

According to HomeAdvisor, cleaning AC coils costs most people $100 to $400. Cleaning costs less when you wrap it into your annual service visit or have your coils cleaned at the same time as your ducts. Duct cleaning, a service that includes cleaning the evaporator coil located in your indoor unit, costs $250 to $500.

The number of return air vents a house should have depends on its overall square footage. You'll need one supply vent and one return vent for every 100 to 150 square feet of living space. This means that, ideally, there should be at least one return air vent in every room. However, if the room is 100 square feet or larger, it's better to have two or three. A 2,000-square-foot home should have between 13 and 20 return air vents, in total.

Yes, rust in ductwork is bad if it’s left untreated. Mild rust can be removed before it causes any significant damage. However, if you ignore rust, it can affect the structural integrity of the ductwork, and you’ll eventually need to replace it entirely. In addition, rust-causing moisture in ducts can also cause mold growth.

If one room is significantly colder than the others, closing the air vents in the warmer rooms may seem like a way to redirect airflow. However, closing air vents is usually not a good idea. When the vents are blocked, your HVAC system will have to work harder, leading to higher energy bills and potentially shortening the life of the system.

The formula for neutralizing skunk smell is one quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide, ¼ cup baking soda, and one to two teaspoons of dish soap. The University of Nebraska says a chemist discovered that this mixture changes the thiols, the chemical compound that causes the odor, into acids that don’t carry a skunk smell, thus eliminating the odor.
