"All Service Moving was exceptional. Great customer service - easy to schedule and flexible. Royce & Frost did an AMAZING job moving all of our very heavy and fragile belongings. They handled all of our requests and items with care and worked both efficiently and quickly. They were super friendly and very customer service oriented. I can't thank them enough for the GREAT job they did. I highly recommend All Service Moving for anything moving and/or storage related. And DEFINITELY request Royce & Frost to handle your job. Thank You!"

"Easy Movers moved me from an apartment to a rental house and then a storage facility. They were on time, polite and efficient. I found them through Angi and chose them because they were willing to move my piano. Months later I planned a more permanent move and was pleased that Gena in the office and Don the estimator were still with the company. The 3 men who moved me were excellent each time. I highly recommend them."

"I recently hired this company to move my two-bedroom apartment, and they did an amazing job from start to finish. The team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and handled all of my furniture and boxes with great care. They wrapped everything properly, made sure nothing was damaged, and even helped place items exactly where I wanted them in my new place. What really stood out was how friendly, patient, and professional the movers were the entire time. They made the whole process stress-free and way easier than I expected. If you?re looking for a reliable, hardworking moving company, I definitely recommend them. I?d hire them again without hesitation!"

"I had no idea in the long run. What company I actually was working with. In the end, I worked with two separate moving companies. This company itself actually did not move my stuff, they had other companies do the moving.I think this company is actually a broker and not movers themselves. Also my quote in the end was 2x the origonal because person didnt put right info in my quote. I was told that my items were being picked up by one company being stored in a warehouse could take 2 weeks to deliver. Then it was moved by another company. And when it did get to my location, I was told they weren't able to drive up my driveway. so I had to meet them with a uhaul which was another expense. But it was cheaper than having them put it in a U-Haul and bringing it which would have been another $1500. I did receive all my stuff. It took longer than I was originally told. This company did itself didnt do the move. Verify if your company is a broker or a moving co. Ill only use large like mayflower"

Moving questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can use a dolly to move a treadmill, though you won't always need one. If your treadmill has wheels and you’re moving it to a different location on the same floor, you can likely skip the dolly. But if you’re moving it up a flight of stairs or to a new home, a dolly can help you move it more easily.

Moving a one-bedroom apartment yourself can range from $150 to more than $1,500, depending on distance, the amount of belongings you have, and more. On the other hand, the cost of hiring movers for a one-bedroom apartment is around $1,850 on average. You’ll save money with the DIY route, but the process is much more labor-intensive and time-consuming.

The best way to pack mirrors is to use specially padded cartons or boxes made for mirrors. Be sure to thoroughly wrap the fragile mirror in padded paper or bubble wrap before sliding it into its box. That way, there’s a protective barrier in between the mirror and the box. Then, fill in any gaps with crumpled paper or additional packing materials.

Not all furniture needs to be disassembled. Smaller items or pieces that are easily transportable might not require disassembly. You only need to worry about assembling large pieces, like a sofa, in order to fit through existing door frames and hallways. Before you disassemble anything, take measurements of your furniture and talk to your moving company about what should be taken apart prior to moving.

When booking a moving truck, be sure to consult the company guidelines to determine whether they allow plants to ride in the moving vehicle. However, if you’re making a long-distance move, you should transport your plants in a temperature-controlled environment, which may rule out a moving truck. If you can put your plants in the moving truck, consider stacking them in the farthest corner to avoid extreme temperatures.
