"Couldnâ t have had a better experience, hire Gas Masters ASAP. They were always on time and unlike most competitors, they gave us multiple options to install a new gas line/pipe. Installation was as smooth as advertised and they handled all Gas line inspection coordination planning/scheduling and re-scheduling after another company failed to properly install my range properly (multiple times)."

"Sam M. and Mitchell P completed our tub to shower conversion. They were terrific to work with and very thorough and efficient. Shout out to Holly Bullard, sales consultant, as well. Grateful for her advice and follow up as requested. The installation is well done and beautiful!"

"We had a master bathroom addition built by Triangle Classic Homes and we absolutely love it!  Our addition was completely new construction (not a remodel) and included dual vanities, air bath tub, tile shower with dual shower heads, a linen closet, a separate water closet and a walk-in closet.  In total, it was approximately 240 square feet elevated about 10 feet over our driveway.  Carl & Ralph were both very easy to talk to and work with.  They were very knowledgeable and guided us through the process from start to finish.  We liked the fact that they were always up front and honest about issues we may run into along the way.  For example, our HVAC system is an older unit...they warned us that the inspector may request that we upgrade it.  That didn't happen, but we knew about the possibility before we even agreed to move forward with the addition so there weren't any surprises along the way.  They communicated well, always answered our questions and addressed our concerns.  They were eager to please and went out of their way on multiple occasions to ensure the bathroom turned out the way we wanted it.  Their time estimate was spot on...they said 3 months and that's what it took.  We've been using the new addition for about 2 months now and absolutely love it.  It's everything we wanted and we couldn't be happier.  If we ever have another addition or remodel project, we'll definitely be giving Carl & Ralph at Triangle Classic Homes a call.  Give them a chance to talk to you about your project...you won't be disappointed.

"I had a leak that required turning off all water into the house. Pipeworx responded within less than an hour of calling. The person responding was very professional and fixed the problem within 30 minutes of seeing the problem. I was most pleased with the Tradesman and the work performed."

"Tech was able to tell me what the error code meant but did not want me to order part until testing with volt meter. Diag appointment with volt meter did not cost extra. Tech gave me part numbers and it fixed the problem."

"Contacted the company at 8 am and was told that someone would be at my house by noon. The technician should up at 11:30 and went straight to work. Even checked my hot water heater to ensure it was not damaged from the lost of water to the home. I would recommend this company to anyone that has a plumbing emergency.

"I had a "rotten-egg" smell in my water. Had the water tested by the county and discovered Sulfur. The M & M guys came out on the same day and installed the "Sulfur Eliminator". No more smelly water. Thanks, M & M; you're real Action Heros!"

Percolation Tests questions, answered by experts

The signs of asbestos exposure are often subtle and may not appear for many years, or even decades, after initial contact. This long latency period is one of the primary dangers associated with asbestos.

When symptoms do manifest, they can include:

  • Shortness of breath

  • A persistent, dry cough

  • Chest pain or tightness

  • Fatigue

  • Wheezing

  • Weight loss

  • Difficulty swallowing

  • A dry, crackling sound from the lungs when breathing

These symptoms are non-specific and can be mistaken for other respiratory conditions, making diagnosis challenging. Prolonged exposure can lead to serious diseases as the asbestos fibers cause scarring and inflammation in the lungs. These conditions include asbestosis, lung cancer, and mesothelioma.

Due to the vague nature of early symptoms, regular medical check-ups are crucial for anyone with a known history of asbestos exposure, particularly in an occupational setting. If you suspect asbestos is present in your home, a professional inspection is recommended.

Epoxying over asbestos tiles is generally considered a safe option when done correctly. Epoxy acts as a sealant, encapsulating the asbestos tiles and preventing the release of asbestos fibers into the air. The key is ensuring that the asbestos tiles are in good condition, firmly adhered to the substrate, and not damaged or deteriorating. This method is only appropriate for tiles that are undamaged and securely in place. If the asbestos tiles are already loose, damaged, or deteriorating, encapsulating them with epoxy may not be a sufficient solution, as it might not address the potential for ongoing asbestos exposure.

If you can locate building records, you may be able simply to see what type of tiles (or bonding agent) was used. Any flooring made between 1950 and 1989 more than likely contains asbestos. Asbestos tiles can also be slightly thicker than other tiles and often measure 9” x 9”, 12” x 12”, and 18” x 18. Black mastic was a commonly used adhesive that contains asbestos.

In the event of suspected or confirmed asbestos contamination on the body, it is imperative to take immediate measures to reduce health risks. To avoid further exposure, carefully remove contaminated clothing and shower thoroughly to remove any asbestos fibers. Seek prompt medical attention, and inform your healthcare professional about your suspected asbestos exposure. Since asbestos-related health issues can take years to surface, regular medical check-ups are advised for anyone with a history of exposure.

Asbestos testing is conducted by collecting samples from materials suspected to contain asbestos and analyzing them in laboratories for confirmed presence.
