"Vendor install a Honeywell 7200 series thermostat in my new home, but I decided to upgrade to a 6580 WiFi unit. I did all the work myself but couldn't get the A/C to work. I called Honey well who referrred me to Enhanced Heating and A/C. I called them at 3:45 PM on a Friday afternoon and got a live person who said someone will call me back after I presented the problem I had. Purchased Angie's Big Deal for 4 hours of home improvement/handyman services.  Mr. John Schmidt, owner, showed up at the designated time to estimate our work for future scheduling, but when he saw the nature of the work, he requested to go ahead and get started and he would do the work right then.  Working from our list of about 10 different repairs, small projects, and hanging light fixtures.

Mr. Schmidt was personal, professional, and very knowledgeable about the work we needed done and offered suggestions that improved the projects beyond our ideas.

If needed, we would certainly be willing to hire Innovative Design again to do larger projects/remodels, etc.

"We had an older television built into a wall of shelves in the living room.  When we replaced the television with a new thin model the shelving arrangement no longer worked the way we wanted.  I contacted Craftsman Direct (CD) and they had a estimate within $10 of the best estimate and I was more confident that they could do what was needed.  Although CD didn't show up when originally scheduled they called beforehand and we were able to reschedule.  They did show up on time and stayed with the project until it was completed to our satisfaction late on the evening the day before Thanksgiving.  It was not clear at the beginning exactly what would be required and although it required a bit more in materials than had been estimated, CD did not charge us for the overage.  In the end they moved two shelf units, relocated an electrical and cable outlet, finished the newly opened space and painted it flat black to match the rest of the shelves.  We were very pleased with the result and would definitely recommend Craftsman Direct and call on them again for another project.

"I have used Ray and Legacy now on 3 of my homes.  We have moved throughout NC and several occasions and Ray comes and fixes it for us.  In this last project we didnt know what we had on our hands but it onlt took a phone call to them and they came out and met with us.  Ray feels like part of the family so we trusted his advice.  We were a little shocked by the price and had to carefully weigh the pro's and con's.  We knew it was alot of work but we felt we had the best contractor in town, so we decided to hire them to handle everything for us.  The experience was long (but in the allotted timeframe), but the work was great and we are both very pleased with everything.  There was a minor issue with a few doors after the remodel but it just took a phone call and everything was made right.  Im happy to be able to recommend these guys and look forward to working with them again in the future when things come up
